Does anyone know what month of 2009 will Harry Potter open????

The last opening date I read was between December 15, 2009 and June 30, 2010. Remember that is just an estimate. The Wizarding World of Harry Potter could open earlier or later than that time frame. Also, don't forget it will open in phases.

And hey, there is nothing wrong with leaving out Disney for Universal. I've done it a few times in the past. :animwink:

Edit: Welcome to the boards!

Adding to what krankenstein said, I believe that the land will open in December '09, though all of the attractions may not be open until (at least) June '10. It's still not known what attractions are coming, though it seems there will be at least 2 or 3 brand-new attractions. So, the point I'm trying to make is: if you go in December '09, though the land will be open, only one or two attractions will be open.
I've been to Universal many times and am a big HP fan, but I'm not really wanting to go to Universal between Dec. '09 and Fall '10. The crowds will be huge and everything might not be open yet.
