OK, I am forced to read through these forums linearly because I use a text-to-speech screen reader. I wanted to just start this one over. Please just post the happy stories here, and if someone wants to, create another topic for the stories that are not so happy. These stories just make the suspense for my trip even greater, I just want to whitness this amazing promotion first hand. Good stories bring it closer to cut the suspense. So help me with that warm fuzzy feeling by posting the latest sightings here, and please, no negativity.

What a great idea to start a 'happy' thread. I will check it often to have my heart warmed by the reports of pleasantly surprised (and lucky) guests!

Thanks, Ryan

My favorite is one I actually read in the other "not so happy" thread. The one about the family that got to ride Buzz Lightyear with BUZZ HIMSELF! Whomever posted it said the mom was crying from the look on her son's face. Now THAT is what this promotion (and WDW as a whole) is all about! :)

I posted it. And it's true- that moment made my whole day just seeing how happy the parents were and how excited the little boy was. I like to think that it was his favorite birthday ever.

Well I was happy to see the dream squad walk into my flight bay at mission space today. I was not so happy to see them walk out promplty afterwards when they realised they were in the wrong place :brick:.

Come now, this thread is for HAPPY STORIES!

I haven't see anything specific or huge over at Epcot...but I do see little things and I know there is a different feel around the park...A group grinning ear to ear while wearing their brand new Dream Mouse Ears, a family excitedly deciding which of their Dream FastPasses to use first, congratulating a happy couple who have the new Newlyweds buttons, and then turning around and meeting an older couple wearing the anniversary buttons only to find that today was their 50th anniversary. I can't wait until my managers hand out the Pixie Dust pins so I can jump into the Magic myself :D

Nothing huge but at Epcot on Sunday a family got to ride B1 and were announced by their name and where they were from and that they were flying first class today as part of the celebration, which was followed by applause.

The kids LOVED it. Job done!

Taryn - I truly hope my family gets the chance to see your magic in action next week :) Your enthusiasm is infectious!

On Sunday at Epcot, I was admiring the Happy 35th Birthday pins the CMs are wearing. I asked a CM (john) at Innoventions if they were for sale somewhere. He asked if I would like one and pulled on out of his pocket and gave it to me! I was so suprised and greatful! It really made my day!:sohappy:

:sohappy: this story has nothing to do with a cm but it is a feel good story. this past saturday we were at mgm and had breakfast at the park. i had been carrying my video on my shoulder all week but this day i decided to hang it on my chair while we ate. when we were done i was talking to the wife and kids and completely forgot my camera. we had gotten all the way to tot before i realized it. i ran back to the cafe and of course it was gone so we went to lost and found and filed a report. my wife and i were sure it was gone for good. we still went and rode tot and rockin to try and perk up some.we decided to leave then and head to epcot but stopped at L & F to leave my cell number on the report, guess what someone had already turned my camera in. talk about an uplifting event this was it . it really perked up my faith in the human race. we checked to see if the person had left a name so we could thank them but they had not. planning next trip already.:sohappy: :sohappy:

Taryn is a nice person. You will probly have a hard time trying to find her. It took me an hour to find her the first day.

I was wondering how people got those pins. I saw them all around MGM on Sunday and when I went to PI last night.

:sohappy: rdour, Bravo for starting this thread. If it is still going when I get back in November I will post some happiness.

In the mean time a couple of weekends ago my fiancee and I were in the World of Disney store in New York City. It was her birthday and I told the CM and he gave her a birthday button and a magical moment certificate. It was really great to get that and she wore the button the rest of the day and got a lot of happy birthday wishes. It really helped make her birthday just that much better. Disney just does it right. :D
