...a buddy of mine has a 65 GTO in storage....he took me to see it and i really expected to see a beat up old junk....but it's mint...it was the classic case of a car owned by a little old lady who drove it to church once a week...it was his aunts....and she left it to him...

...the 389ci GTOs were quick...and they never failed to turn a head as they cruised thru the hang-outs.

...in a town next to where i live, they still have friday night car hops during the summer and all the old cars show up...it's a real mind tease to walk thru the lineup of cars just like we use to park them at the hang-outs way back when.........takes ya right back as if it were yesterday.

Yeah same here...in one of the suburbs I used to live in...during the spring summer and fall....every wed or thurs night they have a show with cars lined up and down the main street,...and to see the old chevells and gtos ...mustangs....its really nice.....thats when cars were more than cars.....they were machines!

Mmm classics. *smiles* My car has won some events that dad took it too. It's fixed up soooo nice right now.. even has the pony interior. Now he's working on a 64 and a half coupe. It's my little brother's car but him and my dad are fixing it up so that it looks as nice as the 66 and mom's 2001 .... Okay so we have a car obsession in the family so?

I love car shows... and I"m in cali so there are quite a few. I have only been to them with dad though... cause well.. he used to take me. I've wanted a mustang since I was like ... 10 so when dad got one so I could drive it I was much thrilled.

I think is saw the Jay Leno thing on a full house episode once.. or was it tool time.. anyways.... I know what you are talking about. He has soooo many sweet cars. hehe

Okay so instead of a knight on shining armor I guess I'd fall for a surfer in a converitible..? lol

did sumone say surfers in convertibles! thats the best. I go to the beach everyday in the summer and stare at the gourgeous surfers!! lol..those are the days

*nods* Surfers in convertables... hehe And tomorrow is a holiday. here is hoping it's warm and lots of them are hanging around Santa Monica.. hehe.

Hmm definately going swimsuit shopping this weekend.... It's getting warm here already LOL....
