HAPPY SAFE AND HEALTHY 2006.....what will I be doing - I am hoping to be watching t.v. in the comfort of my home BUT>>>>>if TRADITION has it's way - I will be on an MVA because some drunk decided to get behind the wheel of their car and drive home. Also, I will have some teenager puke on me because his/her parents thought it would be fine for him/her to get drunk tonight.PLEASE BE CAREFUL OUT TONIGHT.
That's why we stay home on NYE. I'm scared of the drunks that are out driving. DH will be coming home from work in a little while. They've been really busy tonight too.

I made some things for us to snack on while the kids and I watched a movie. Now they're enjoying watching the fireworks that people around us are shooting off.

Happy New Year everyone!

The idiots come out to play on New Years Eve. The fireworks (all illegal) have been relentless for most of the night and one of my neighbors has been kind enough to shoot an M4 Carbine in three-round burst mode on two occasions. In recognition, some of the "good ole boys" in the neighborhood have attempted to emulate the M4 Carbine owner with their hunting rifles and shotguns in their own versions of a three-round burst. You might be a redneck if....

I love it!

What!? Just because I live in NJ doesn't mean I watch (or care for) the Devils. Actually, I don't even like hockey.

Figured as much... it seems like me and Vince are the only ones really caring about hockey here.

Happy New Year again, to you West Coasters! (As opposed to Roller Coasters...) :lookaroun:

Who is the last area of the globe to come into the new year? Anyone know?

Happy New Years, all! :D

As for the last... is it Hawaii? I vaguely recall reading that somewhere.

And here's some New Years picspam! Taken from the balcony of my best friend's apartment tonight! :D

The last time zone is located on the International Dateline West. So anyone located there would be the last to ring in 2006.
