The last time zone is located on the International Dateline West. So anyone located there would be the last to ring in 2006.

O.K., but what part of the globe is that? Where is the actual international dateline? (I never knew, sad to say.) And which country would be on or near the line on the Western portion. (Which country is actually last?)

It runs through the Pacific Ocean, and in between Alaska and northern Russia. It does some zigzags along the way to include some Pacific islands.
