Please explain this to my wife.:lookaroun

Okay, check this out. See my avatar? That photo was taken just about exactly 10 months ago last December. Now, Ryan is almost exactly the same height as me, and he's taller than Linda (I'm about an inch or two taller than Linda, but I'm sort of hunched in the photo). By December of this year, I'm going to take another photo like this, and I'm betting he's going to be pretty clearly taller than me by then.

Is that normal, or is he some kind of freak of nature?:lookaroun

Boys grow... old men shrink. It happens. :lookaroun

If you'd like any back hump growing tips, I'll be happy to share. (Speaking of backs... I did a number on mine playing volleyball yesterday with Kaitlyn... and where did those darn kids hide my cane?!)

Listen, I wanted to drop my Birthday wishes early 'cause they'll be doing some work here on the street and they'll cut the power for the whole morning. Screw those people who work at home, right?

Hi all. I haven't been around much, because things have been really busy at work, but enjoy the cake and noisemakers.

I stopped by the grocery store this evening and as I got out of my car, an older woman was saying something about: "It just blew away."

I thought maybe it was her hat or something, so I looked to see if I could help her. I looked in the direction she was pointing and realized it was a mylar Halloween balloon. It had a clip on the bottom that weighted it down enough to keep it on the ground, but it was blowing away across the parking lot. I started after it, but realized it was blowing fast, and I ended up sprinting at full speed just to try too keep up with it. I ended up finally getting it at the end of the parking lot roughly 100 yards from where I started.

When I got back there were a bunch of people gathered who had apparently watched the whole thing. They were cheering and telling me they didn't think I'd be able to get it.

When I gave it to the woman, she wanted to give me some Peanut-Butter Cups. I told her "No thanks", but she stuffed two of them in my shirt pocket and made me take them.
