News Happily Ever After fireworks show returning to Magic Kingdom in 2023

This and Fantasy in sky, they didn't even change the words in Fantasy in the sky they just re recorded it and it sounds worse, also I noticed every year the speakers are always out of sync and lower volume from every other show. Also the fourth of July show is only ok. I think I'd rather them just do hea with more pyro and fourth tag like Epcot.

Well the park is only scheduled to be open until 11...
Maybe that was the plan before Hours were cut and the July 3rd Heartbeat Of Freedom was removed.

Just looked and it looks like there's nothing listed for those dates right now, at least for me. No Celebrate America or HEA

They will definitely have celebrate America. I wouldn't bet on HEA for those nights, But I will keep my fingers crossed for you.
I found it in HEA's Calendar on MDE. Celebrate America is not on MDE yet.

I posted this on Twitter and I feel it's worth reposting here. The projections for HEA have gotten much worse over the last few years. Drew said enchantment wasn't like this and Disney Glimpses said that it's an issue with the media and not the projectors. No matter what the issue is, the show did no look like this in 2017. It was crystal clear.

Total guess/speculation but if MK is still getting a new lighting package for Starlight maybe the new projectors will be included? At least we can hope.

Crazy theory on my part but with the new parade being called Starlight And them using the Wishes theme in the actual presentation and saying "starlight starbright" in their little promotional video on Instagram It's making me think wishes might come back for a limited time. Maybe they'll use Wishes as a chance to run a show without projections so that they can upgrade the projectors?
If Wishes returns for DAH, might MK get new Projectors for that?

The plaza restaurant is being refurbed right now with huge scrims up. I know one of the main projectors is on that building, is it possible that one is down or using a temporary one right now and that's why it looks worse?

Very possible, I saw from last night. One of the projectors towards the top of the castle was out.

I love the show happily ever after. It is an absolute master class on what a Disney fireworks show with projections can be. Having said that the projections have been pretty bad even before the plaza refurbishment began. This became painfully obvious to me upon seeing Disney illuminations at Disneyland Paris. The projections really popped. It was obviously better projections. And not just by a small margin. Magic Kingdom really needs to fix this. I don't think new projectors are needed out so much as the technology needs constant adjustment, and maintenance that they're just not getting.
Additionally in my opinion only, it did not help when they painted the castle rose gold. I always felt as though it muted the projections when they did that. So the colors became a little off because they weren't projecting on the same color surfaces they were originally designed to project on.

Exactly, not to mention painting the castle pink makes the pink and gold "transformation" during HEA much worse. I fear they might not update them at Magic Kingdom for a while. At least until they get a new show. Disneyland had a similar problem with their projections up until Wondrous Journeys.
