Just letting people know if you're still worried about taking a camera...I took my video camera and taped all of the haunted houses (ran out of tape halfway through scream house), and bill and ted. No one said anything to me all night long...

first thing... quit plugging your site on every single post. Sorry... I just had to get that out of the way.

Secondly, every time someone was holding a camera to my face, I'd leave... I figured that would mean something... guess it didn't

all good

anyway.. I'm depressed. Saturday (ie. TODAY!) will be my last HHN this season. My home venue (USF Entertainment) called, and they requested to have me back to fill in for a termination.. so no more HHN (but this means I can go as a guest now! yay!)

Well I wanna say that it was fun! My friend's car broke down on the way there, and that took away about 1 hour, and 30 min away  . But we finally got there and at the entrance there was a ton of fog under the bridges (I love that). The lines were not bad, everything was 30 min or under. Since we were late we only got a little more than half done. I liked the Jurassic Park area ALOT, and I love that type of theming, plus I love the loud sounds and all types of lights. We didnt get to go on any coasters :(

Attractions and we went on (and line time):
Maximum Carnage: 30 min
Storm Ex: 0 min
Spiderman: 20 min
Bill and Ted: 0 min (we walked right in)
Dudley Doright: 0 min
Scary Tales 2: 20 min
Evolution: 10 min

It was real fun, I wish I could check out the rest, but its too expensive to go again.

Hmm..... A glowing face appeared about 2 inches away from my head. I believe he (or somebody else nearby) told me to go right...... since I had lost the people ahead of me.This was around 10:00. Would that have been you?

Nope, I don't have a glowing face. That was a 'Killfolk'. I'm in the graveyard.

To everyone who has already gone, I just had some questions. Which island had the most work done to it to transform it for the event? AND, Which island was most different from its usual self?

The island with the most visible changes would have to probably be Marvel. They have towers, cages, and cars in various areas around the island. That and the neon signs are not all lit, which is another change, though be it an electrical one.

I may catch some grief for saying what I feel is the greatest difference in islands and that is Seuss Landing into Boo-Ville. The atmosphere is just entirely different campared to when you walk through it in the daytime. Jurassic Park is surprising not that different in atmosphere to me, being that in the daytime it seems that dinos are all around you... at night they just really are. Marvel also has a different ambience.

Just a quick post to say that this years HHN rules although was a little disappointed with bill and ted this year due to the small stage.

Hey everybody, my trip to Halloween Horror Nights is FINALLY approaching and I had a question that everyone in my party is asking me, that I don't know the answer to. We are going on Saturday, November 2nd. Is it really going to be that busy compared to the other days since it's after Halloween? How do the days before and after Halloween do at HHH? Thanks...

WooHoo! I got to play the autopsy body last night. Man, that postion is posh.

To Merlin's question I'm not sure. It would make sense but it is also the last weekend and thus the last chance a lot of people have to go. Plus, it's still a Saturday and everyone has been sold out thus far. No telling though...

Last Friday I went to Howl O Scream at Busch Gardens, and suprizingly, I thought it was better than Halloween Horror Nights. Just about all of the haunted houses had detail as good as in the Scream House, and the monsters in them were great.

They were the scariest monsters that I've ever seen in haunted houses (no offence to kicker or mktiggerman). They had you screaming around every corner, when HHN has you jumping here and there. Universal needs to take some lessons on more effective scares from them.

The shows were one of the bad things about the park. I guess when you're ripping off bill and ted and beetlejuice, you can't make the shows better than the originals.

When I went the longest line was about 10 minutes... It's worth it.

I should have a website with lots of pictures up soon.

Well, I went last night and it was pretty cool, so here's my trip report...
We got there around seven and went straight to Maximum Carnage. The line was short, about ten minutes, and there was some in-line entertainment, the lizard guy off of tv. The music was BLASTING, I never recovered my hearing after that. The house was ok. I liked the warehouse setting, and the tunnel was neat, but overall I was a bit underwhelmed. Where was Carnage in this thing? What was the red light behind the water supposed to be? Anyway, the end made up for it a little, very unexpected. Then we went to Screamhouse, by far the best thing in the park, and waited in the 75 minute wait. This was so scary! I could barely keep my eyes open! Very well done and highly themed. The meat grinder guy scared the crap out of me. Then we went to Jurassic. Specifically, Evilution. The wait was HORRENDOUS. Almost 2 hours, but we waited in it and finally went into the house. It was pretty crappy. Not scary at all. Hands down the biggest disappointment of the night, besides the limited operating hours of the coasters, which we were unaware of. That's pretty much all that we got done because of the crowds, but it was still fun and the amount of work that went into it was very impressive. Sorry my report isn't that detailed, I am exhausted still from last night, and I am falling asleep as I'm writing this. I think I'll continue with more tomorrow. I would like to comment on the different islands and additions to them. To be continued...I hope.
