So Rob, what's the deal? Can we still take cameras if we don't use them in the houses? I've never had a problem with it before. Did it change this year?

Our house hasnt beentold anything about cameras. When we see them coming through (well, me personally), I just take it as a challenge to scare them even more. I can do that since I know I wont appear on regular handheld video cameras.

I'll ask though.

Kicker I would imagine you would show up on my mini dv since it has night vision. Still though I can not see bringing a camera in for one reason IT WILL JUST LOOK LIKE BLAIR WITCH!!!!! Talk about getting sea sick :hurl:

Well, I can understand them saying on to Cameras and Video in the houses. I'm just asking about getting in the park with it. :)

Yeah, that's her. I was calling her Scream because for some reason that is the name on the character diagram for the Carnage house you can find in the Wardrobe Department about HHN. Scream, Shriek... it's just a high-pitched exclimation of surprise either way.

Nope- Shriek is a totally different Marvel character.

More background about Scream here...

She is also one of the members of the Synister Syndicate in the ride.

Oh, her... You know, I still don't know why they used HER for the ride. She never was that big of a character... They had so many others to use. But thanks for the page, I'll definately bookmark it for future reference!

So Rob and Kicker, what exactly are your roles in the houses? I think that Kicker is death or something but I don't know what Rob is. Can you tell me?

So what is an average day like for your guys? How early do you have to get there, how long does it take to get you into character, etc.? And a question I've always wanted to know the answer to, how do you guys stay in those costumes, in those houses for that amount of time? Does it go slowly or not? Doesn't it get boring yelling at people for hours on end, day after day?

I can answer this entire order of questioning in 3 statements.. lol.

1-You get used to any discomfort

2-45 on/45 off

3-You make games and find ways to keep things fresh... like super troopers

HEY ROB, I GOTTA BOO BUCK!!!

Merlin's question... I get there about 5:30 (for my 6:00 call because traffic is always moving well) and I don't really 'get into character' until I walk onto the soundstage and start hearing the screams coming from the house.

It doesn't get boring because scaring people is one of the funnest jobs you will ever have.

Sillyspook's comment... did you find me?

"Don't fear the Reaper..."

Well, after reading a very detailed trip report on ioacental.com, which was very good by the way, I feel like I've been there. Really cool. I have a question for Rob and Jeff, and anyone who has gone a lot, have you guys noticed anything that has been changed/improved since the start of the event? The reason I'm asking is because in the report, anything that wasn't very good, which wasn't much, wasn't dwelled upon because it will most likely be fixed before the end of the event. But do they even bother? Just curious...
