Apparently, according to pictures, the building for Carnage is going to be covered in crushed cars. Sounds pretty cool. Those preview pictures, especially of Treaks & Foons, are making me really want to be there right now...

I think I've heard the walls will be composed of the crushed cars... I think that's what someone who is working in a maze said over on the DIS.

LoL... I think that it's interesting that the only house anybody is talking about is Maximum Carnage. Watch Murphy take over, and Fear Factor becomes the best house this year...

Anyway, I was wondering. Since two of the houses are outdoors (Evilution and Scary Tales II), what happens if the four-letter-word happens? (Not that word, the R word) I mean, do the scare-actors just go backstage and they shut down the house, or does it run in the rain? It doesn't affect me, except we may have to make up for it at our house.....

A demented clown and a helpless guest? It would never work out. ;)

Seriously, I think it would be a very good thing if it doesn't pour rain all over IOA this year. If the props and stuff are the cheap stuff they use in an indoor house, then I doubt they could handle much more than a shower. Hopefully they have had the forethought to take rain into consideration this year...

I don't see how they could turn Fear Factor in anything more than room after room of bugs, rats, snakes, etc. Is it going to be very different than that?

How about putting big umbrellas over the props? Yes, that would look kinda strange....

Ok, how about "umbrellas of DOOM"?

Thanks for the plug, I'm glad to see the site are catching on! I go out there to UO every or every other weekend and try to supply the site with some good update photos, glad you like them!

Yeah, I went out to IOA today and wow, I cannot wait for HHN. Those torture devices look down right hideous in person. And JP is foreboding even in the daytime with those wrecked jeeps and open cages lying about....

Tomorrow I see Scream House :D

I had no idea this is how it worked out... So all the decorations are left there all day long, kind of a Halloween mood, even thought HHN only starts at night? And what about the "houses"? Are they out of reach or just closed?

Leaving the devices out I think are more of a 'Hey, wanna come see something really disturbing?'-type thing. Two of the houses are out of the way, those being Maximum Carnage and Scream House. Carnage is behind Dr. Doom and you can see the wall keeping people away from Scream House.

When you get off Bilge-Rat Barges, look to the left as you walk away and you can see the entrance to Scary Tales II. Fear Factor is in the Thunder Falls Terrace resturant which is just closed... and the Evilution house's entrance is at the exit of the Triceratops Encounter walk-through, so I havent exactly been able to find it. Hopefully I can get a map before it opens and post it.

They do not mention Fear Factor and they do mention the Green Goblin. The Fear Factor house is happening, why they didnt mention it... I dont know. Green Goblin thing... I dont know yet on that either.

Pumbas Nakasak

Heading for the great escape.
I have just visited the website, and i must say im a little dissapointed. I got my tickets weeks ago and thought that all the park would be open. Not only that I was led to believe it would be open till 2 and now i find that sat 1st is excempt. Which makes me think they dont class it as a peak night, so there goes the chance to get soaked. Oh well ill have to make the most of the spookings.:dazzle:

Of course they leave out the description of the house that I'm most curious about, Fear Factor. Maybe they're having some problems with it?... Anyway, tell us how Screamhouse was!

 I literally just got in from rehearsal with ScreamHouse and all I can say is disturbing. There is Disney level detail in this thing. The cast has some suggestion though that might make more enjoyable (and terrifying) for the guest. The employee preview is Wed. so that's when we get some good opinions.

After a nightmare-filled sleep (not really but it did take a while for me to calm down enough to close my eyes), I might as well elaborate some on ScreamHouse.

***DO NOT READ IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO KNOW ANYTHING BEFOREHAND***

ScreamHouse is set up very much like a traditional haunt. It's a walk-through of the burned remains of the Caine home (Dr. Caine is the Caretaker). Imagine Texas Chainsaw Massacre to a bloodier Nth degree. There is one maze type-part halfway through that is DARK. It was dark enough that the house designer Dave said they needed to do something about it (It's really bad when 50 people who know the house have a hard time getting out). Anyway, there is a great story to go along with the house that I will post once people have been through it. Mine, as well at least one other members, thing is that it is too dark in there. You miss the incredible story that is there because you cant see it. I want to try a walk through on Wed when I am on a break and see if things have changed a little.

Oh, and Rob. All the SMs are saying that ScreamHouse is the best house... including CJ and Dave. (:D Go us!).
