From the uk , i love Hop, just like A.A in Epcot, there attractions that have grand scale, i must say though, With Mr T heading back to the oval office, i wonder if they'll touch up the old version, or save themselves a few bob, and just wheel him to the front . funny thing is, my wife and i were there last week, did the whole 08.30-11.00 pm stint, rode 10 attractions, but missed the H.O.P , it was busy mind you  .

Why do they have to keep replacing things. They are doing it at Animal too, even though it only has what... 5 rides???
They need to keep daily operational costs as rock-bottom low as possible.

Attendance is dropping (Disney fully admits this)
Burbank raises ARPU on the people that DO go. (Average Revenue Per User)
Lower daily operational costs as much as possible.

This all adds to reduced cost and maximum revenue collection. Overall, this maximizes every penny of profit they can squeeze. Parks and Experiences are driving a massive portion of the entire company's profit. Burbank needs every penny out of WDW that they can get right now. WDW is the company's "life vest" today.

Opening up a new land/attraction requires Burbank to maintain and staff the "old" one...and maintain and staff the new one. Not so good for the profit/loss numbers.

Good luck. I’m still waiting for the elephant in the room to stop dumping in the Snow White thread.
"Elephant"? Me? lol

Why am I the "elephant" in the room? I'm nobody. I'm just a regular dude with a regular opinion. What did "I" do to earn that title?

@MisterPenguin - On the Dr Facilier thing. Just Google it. There are TON of articles that discuss it from all over the place. You are not looking for an official press statement signed and notarized by Bob Iger himself...right??? No, you wont find that. Believe the articles if you want...OR DON'T. Makes no difference to this "elephant". I won't blame you either way.

It's funny that Mama Ode is a (good) Voodoo priestess but the team that made the ride hated the "Voodoo" stereotype soooo much that they changed the name of what she does to "magic" instead of "Voodoo". Hahaha

C'mon...it's New Orleans, let Voodoo be the thing. That stuff has been there in the culture for a long time and there is no need to run away from it.

I don't believe the articles.

Because I have eyes.

Disney continues to use Facilier, just not for TBA.

Excellent!! I'm proud of you MisterPenguin! You are a shining example of true critical thinking. You took a comment, you analyzed it from "your" experience and perspective and you shot it down in your mind.

It's a good trait and quality to have and I respect that. I disagree with it based on "my" experience and "my" perspective but I respect and appreciate your reasoning on it and your willingness to challenge it.

We can both agree to disagree...and that's a wonderful (and rare) thing in 2024.
