Rumor Hall of Presidents Replaced by Muppets American History Show???

For those who claim that Disney is retreating from anything patriotic or 'American'...

Disney was intentionally removing Americana from the parks. The easiest example of this happening was the replacement of 'To Honor America' from MSEP, but the proposed replacement of Main Street itself, though it did not come to fruition, speaks to the radical ideas that proliferated in Burbank just a few years ago. Thankfully the overall reception to the "woke" stance Disney had been taking was met with criticisms and a loss of revenue. Since then, they've maintained a decent amount of patriotism in the parks and have removed a lot of woke ideology from their movies, which has overall been met with success.
I find it ridiculous to judge people in the past by standards of today. Without Thomas Jefferson there would be no US Constitution
Jefferson wrote the Declaration of Independence. Hamilton was the architect of the Constitution. Sentiment remains the same.

I can get bahind that idea!!. I don't care which president speaks. Wouldn't it be cool if they programmed maybe 4 or 5 with the ability and every show rotated diferently around the 5? Each time you saw the show, you'd never know which President was going to speak.

I don't feel it's necessary for the current President to do the talking.
I agree. You can hear the current President talking all the time. You can watch hundreds of hours of the next President talking by watching rally videos.

It was a fun gimmick when they added it but the animatronics never really look like the person. The Jack Sparrow and Barbosa in PotC look much closer to the real people, probably aided by the fact that the actors had makeup and costumes in the roles.

Your idea of rotating speakers is a good one also for re-watchability. As it stands now, there is no particular reason to see the show more than once per Presidency. Rotating speakers would add to the attraction of visiting the attraction.

In my opinion, the HoP celebrates how unique the idea of the US Presidency was. An elected representative of the people that was not a king. It celebrates the office itself,...not any one man. The current President is not the single "star" on the stage. They ALL are equal stars.

Have different Presidents speaking in different shows everyday. Or, if Burbank can't afford that, then just have Lincoln, Walt's favorite, do all the speaking. I'm 100% OK with that.

If THIS tactic can convince Burbank to save the entire HoP attraction?,...then I will be happy to support that.

Burbank,...this tactic and change to the attraction should satisfy your political mission and sensitivity goals...AND...keep the vast majority of your paying customers happy at the same time.

The vast majority of paying customers don’t go anywhere near the HoP unless they’re seeking shelter from the rain.

This is true, but the same can be said of every theater show (without live performers) across property. So long as HoP is replaced by another theater show, there likely wouldn't be a marked increase in guests visiting the space after the novelty wears off.

I love the theater shows, but I think Disney wants to delete ALL theater shows to be replaced with one minute rides that require LLs.

I think there’s something to be said about the length of the Hall of Presidents show and how that negatively affects capacity. 25 minutes is a long time for a theme park show, especially in a world where they cut down Bears & Tiki Room. Progress can likely get away with it because it loads more people every 5 minutes, so you never have to wait long for the next show.

I don't buy into this conspiracy theory.

I don’t buy into this conspiracy theory either. Who makes up this nonsense?

The theater seats 700. Maybe there actually is something to worry about.
I dunno, 60 people per show with 8 to 10 shows a day? (never tried to add them up)

Maybe 600-1,000 people per day? (I could be way low...I dont know) 30+% of Fantamic's audience?? (Disneyland?)
