However that pot is now composed of oil and water and no matter how hard you try to mix it the result is it settles out to one layer of water and one layer of oil.
Throw in some lemon juice, a little soy sauce, and herbs and spices, then whisk well, and you get salad dressing. But you got to eat it quickly lest the ingredients separate again...

No matter which side you fall, it is democracy in action. It would be disingenuous to not give the president elect the same treatment that has been given to every president since the opening of the attraction. Put politics aside, Disney

The attraction did not open with the current president having a speaking role. It opened in 1971 and added Bill Clinton in 1993.

Are you trying to tell me that if Hillary Clinton had won in 2016, that she wouldn’t have had a speaking part? If Bill Clinton had a speaking part, Trump should have a speaking part. This has nothing to do with which political party I endorse, it’s fairness. If it were the other way around, I would be arguing the exact same thing. I’m a Libra.

By that logic the company can never change the attraction. Personally I expect they are going to update it, have Trump do the oath for a year or two and then quietly close it to be replaced by something else before we hit the 2028 cycle.

Also, Trump already had a speaking role when he was added in 2017. In fact, he was the last one to be able to give a speech. Biden was reduced to only the oath.

The thing with this election is that the winner already got that treatment 8 years ago. I’d rather see something new, and I think a lot of Disney fans would agree.

Hall of Presidents had a great run, but I really think the concept isn’t relevant anymore and it’s time for it to go.

We knew the entire Liberty Square concept is on the chopping block. IMO, yesterday's results will accelerate the change. It doesn't fit with the current mandates of recognizable Disney IP, and it isn't self-funding (Lightning Lanes). However, ultimately I don't think it will be Muppets, for the same reasons, even if that was a one-time potential path. I think the climate will make Disney even more risk adverse, so more likely to be a more popular or recognizable IP.

Are we allowed to acknowledge only for the oath for Biden? It's the same reason, Harris replaced Biden as the candidate. Moving forward, I'm good with the new President just saying the oath and leaving the speeches to Lincoln and Washington.

I think the poster is using deductive reasoning. Cars Land and Villains Land will remove ROA and Liberty Belle. Rumors are floating about as to what will happen with HOP. That leaves HM and its not going anywhere.
While the Liberty Belle is docked in Liberty Square (anachronistically), it is not essential to Liberty Square. Nor is the RoA. Neither are Colonial attractions.

The Muppet rumor is to make a different type of HoP or Colonial or US Historical attraction. Not something incongruous with Liberty Square.

The replacement for RoA is themed after a US National Park, having an 'Americana' theme similar to RoA.

Villains Land will be far form Liberty Square.

I may just be reading it wrong but I am not sure I follow what you are saying on this part.

I think a lot of people would be okay with this but I doubt Disney wants to keep dealing with the headache in an increasingly less tolerant culture. I honestly hope it breaks that trend soon but I don't think it's worth it to them to wait around and find out.

That is why I think they do a quick update as they already have the Trump AA and the audio of him reading the oath from before his speech in the 2017 version so they don't need anything else. Slap him back up front, play just the oath and done.

At that point they just let it run for a bit longer so any claims of partisanship are less effective until finally closing it down in 2026/2027 to replace with whatever they come up with for that space.

The replacement is not based on US National Parks per-se but a world of auto part shaped features... It is a Carsland National Park in a world made up of anthropomorphic cars.... Which to me will not feel like Americana any more than TOy Story Land is a celebration of American Suburbia... And an off road Rally Race will not be even remotely similar in it's "Americana" theme... It will be a Carsland theme...set within that world... A jarring departure from what was...
