I do not at all want them to get rid of HoP...but my "expectation" is that Burbank will kill it.

Same holds true for American Adventure at Epcot. I desperatly do not want them to "re-imagine" it. But sadly, I fully expect that Burbank will.

I can get bahind that idea!!. I don't care which president speaks. Wouldn't it be cool if they programmed maybe 4 or 5 with the ability and every show rotated diferently around the 5? Each time you saw the show, you'd never know which President was going to speak.

I don't feel it's necessary for the current President to do the talking.

Only reason I can't see Disney taking out HOP and AA is what IP could they replace both shows with? They won't replace the shows with a non IP thing sadly, and I honestly can't think of to many Disney IP's that fit into American themed areas. Closest thing I can think of is Pocahontas which, I really doubt they'd use

We were at DL on Monday and the flag ceremony was incredible, packed plaza and it was amazing watching the CM Veterans march down Main St and up to the train station. The (unexpected) fireworks at the end was a nice cherry on top.

The people who find Lincoln problematic are the same people who will find Walt Disney himself overly problematic. They were never going to go to the parks anyway.

While I have moral issues with deification of humans that the Disney company likes to present or more accurately sanding away the more unsavory aspects of the persons in question since all humans have flaws and we should acknowledge that, Lincoln is in no way near say a Thomas Jefferson where there are serious issues with him that should condemned.

The vast majority of people let alone Americans see Lincoln as one of the greatest Presidents ever, the man who preserved the Union and freed the slaves. If you’re trying to get the .01% of people who think he didn’t do enough on board you’re ice skating uphill.
