Rumor Hall of Presidents Replaced by Muppets American History Show???

There’s no reason Hall of Presidents has to go. It’s not political at all, it’s just a roll call and it just acknowledges the people and the office.

Although I don’t like this idea, If the show remains committed to teaching American history I would come to accept it. The roll call can get…pretty rowdy… But If they deviate from that topic I would have a real issue. If they change the theme of Liberty Square I would have a real issue.

I have a feeling they got that inspiration from this especially the idea of Piggy dressing up throughout the show.

Suffice it to say, if the current Imagineers find the concept of “Liberty Square” and a Hall of Presidents as “problematic,” I do not trust that they come as honest brokers to telling the American story.

This. If utterly benign things are viewed as “problematic” I’d be fearful of what would be chosen to replace them.
