Hall of Presidents reduced operating hours this week for improvements

I would too, but how hard would it be to change it back? I'll at least give credit to WDI for experimenting.

And anyone who is skipping this new show is truly missing out on one of WDW's best attractions. It's vastly superior to the previous incarnation and I would argue it's the best version of the attraction to date. Even better than the original.

Agreed 100%! It used to be a might do on a trip if I needed a nice rest. Now, it is a MK must do.

Really wanting to hear the new music...

I went and listened to the new loop today. It has a much faster tempo than the previous version. It's a lot longer, clocking in at 57:21. I'm going to spend some time trying to figure out if the music was scored for Disney or another needle drop loop.

Awesome, eager for your updates. :)

I pulled one song from the loop, for those interested in hearing the style of music used.

[I removed the link once I determined the loop was needle drop]

Is there anywhere else I can find that? Quite leery of that site...It's given me virus related problems in the past, and I don't feel like loosing my computer to Best Buy for a weekend*.

*3-4 weeks.:lookaroun

I've used sendspace and yousendit hundreds of times and never had issues, but then again, I use a mac.

Yes, if I had my Mac hooked up to the internet right now, I would have no issue. However...The PC I am on worries me.

How long is the file available for? I should be able to get my Mac to the internet tomorrow. :)

Aside from the music change (which they don't have to file a building permit for), it appears that they'll be changing out some curtains:

From 01/11/10 Permit Listing
HOP: Austrian System Modification Package

An "Austrian System" would typically be the main curtain in a theater. My guess is that they're replacing the main red curtain in the show, which will take a few days to do in phases, with testing (can't have it hanging up or cause the fly system to hang or slip)

So far, a few friends and I were able to ID half the loop. I think it's safe to assume this is another needle drop loop. Finishing the playlist will require listening to hundreds of marching band samples, so it could take some time.

The marching band feel of the sample song given sounds far more appropriate for Main Street than Liberty Square. I wonder (but doubt) if they would question guests to find out what they think of it?

That's what I was visualizing (Audio-izing? ), too. :( Shame.

I wonder why they decide to change these little details from time to time. No one notices it, save for people that look for these things. Like us.

It could also be a nice enhancement to the lobby music at Hall of Presidents.

I've never heard of Disney surveying guest reaction to area music. Heck, do most guests even notice background music?
