closed due to heavy rain and lightning. Imagine those in line since early this AM that didn't get on?
UO: Pandora had long waits? That's nice. Hey Disney, hold our beer.
I "love" you all, but I have to say, anyone that would step into a line thinking the could be a 10 hour wait,
is not in their right mind. I understand the ride was closed due to rain. Imagine you get in line around 9am,
you are there for 6 hours, until 3pm, and are told sorry, the ride is closed.
Not quite. The light radiating from the animatronic makes it stick out like a sore thumb still. In the daylight, the first Blast Ended Skrewt kind of looks ridiculous on the revolving pole thing. Luckily, the darkness at night covers that up
On my way to Orlando but 600 minute wait? Rrrrrrr......I'm hoping afternoon rain kills off the crowd so I can slip in tonight but I doubt it.
While you are riding you don’t really have time to notice any of these things.Overall this looks pretty fantastic. Some concerns, though....
Fluffy looks awful and like plastic. Thank goodness you don't linger there. The unicorn looks ridiculous, and unfortunately you do linger there. The rotating pole under the skrewt is way too obvious and Hagrid is a lot less animated than I expected. Lastly, that painted showbuilding is embarrassing.
Not the first time. But you will. While you are riding you don’t really have time to notice any of these things.
lol no, this is not and never will be a thing.I'm with you there, you won't find me at the parks today. I'm sure they planned for that and handed out return times to guests when it went down for the weather. I'll ride it next week if it's less crazy by then.

Most guests won’t purposely seek out negative things on a new ride to post online like some are desperately trying to do here. Watch the video again and listen to the screams and excitement of the riders. Relax and enjoy the experience. The unicorn is literally in a brake run, you have plenty of time. And even in a video, the first thing I noticed in the hut was the rotating pole that the skrewt is attached to.
It's almost as if certain people here are threatened by the fact that Universal's new ride is a hit...Most guests won’t purposely seek out negative things on a new ride to post online like some are desperately trying to do here. The early reviews seem to show almost unanimous praise, and that's from actual news outlets like the Orlando Sentinel, Orlando Business Journal, and local TV stations -- the kind of places Universal can't threaten to uninvite from future media events to try and coax a positive review out of them.
I'm sure it has its flaws, but I'd like to hear something more substantive than "I can sort of see that the animatronic animal is attached to something."
