Had to cancel my trip

Vey sad today because I officially canceled all my reservations. I was supposed to be in the world tomorrow. My family and I were going to be driving from palm Springs California all the way to the world. I was taking my beloved dog shelby to the vet on the first and she chose to run away, and since the vet is twenty miles away from where I live, it is truly frightening. She has yet to return, and we continue to look for her, but safety comes first, and we can't drive cross country while our minds are on our Shelby. I don't expect any responses to this post, just felt like sharing. Disney will always be my saving grace, my truly happy spot, but that can't even save me until my Shelby comes home to me. Sorry for the downer.

I came in here expecting to read some crap story about not having money, or how Little Jimmy got hurt, or something completely boring.

But then you say you cancelled because your pet was lost. You got me, you had me feeling bad for you. Then I read that she was found. Awesome!

I haven't been to the World in over 2 years simply because my dog is old and I don't want to leave her for a week on the chance that she might pass while I'm not around. The things we do for our pets.

How did she turn up?

I got really depressed for a minute there and even had second thoughts on my trip. But thank god I read all the way and now I'm really happy for your family that the furry member is back.
I'm not a dog person, but I have a cat and I can assure you we love her more than we love one another, and we would be devastated if we lost her, so I thank God your dog is back and safe.
