There's another swindler with bad behavior?? What's that story?
Also, I'm not buying this guys account of what happened.
There was! (Seriously, how unfortunate is that last name?) I think the incident there was in 2011, the guy kept harassing the same CM everytime he saw her at the front desk. It got creepier and more specific every time and lasted over the course of 2 or 3 trips. He got warned off - as far as I know he'd been back without incident since then.

I agree, and I think that may just be the case. But, I don't know and I think we agree we never will.

Technically we should, given any police report done by OSCO falls under several public record acts. If they wrote a report on it that is.

But given my own experience working around Law Enforcement, most people's reactions and attitudes are what leads them to getting a ticket or an arrest on a minor offense or in this case, a trespass warning.

On the other hand? Disney just rescinded a high profile Youtuber's trespass warning after they had actually trespassed in closed-off areas and put it online. Anyone who has gotten a trespass warning can now appeal to Disney and use that one and cite it.

Yea, in the bus company we used to trespass people all the time. There usually was no end date, but, they were all reviewed from time to time and some were lifted and the ones that were a danger to the public... stayed trespassed. It really is the only way to correct some of the situations that come up.

Distinct chance that when Police showed up to investigate, his response, reaction, and interaction with them is what earned him his trespass notice.

He did say he made a cell phone video as they were packing up. I have not seen that posted.

As for the late hours... Yes, disrespectful to the guest your kicking out, but less chance of other guests seeing the incident. They probably knew this guy was going to go down kicking.

Well yes, but seeing as Disney is a company and not a court of law I don't know that citing past precedent is likely to help you much. My guess is you would have a better chance with an apology and a promise to never do whatever it was you did again.

I meant that if you have the police show up to a guest room at Midnight, it better be fore. Damn good reason and more than an off-hand remark.

I want to know where the vertical You Tube videos are from this guy's next door neighbors that night? I sure all this hoopla with the cops took AT LEAST an hour. maybe more. He obviously didn't going quietly into the night.

I don't feel bad for the CM, not the guy or his family. But it really must have SUCKED being next door to that with those paper thin walls .
In all honesty, if I was this guys neighbor that midnight, I very well may have also said some less than desirable things that could have gotten me booted from the parks as well :angelic:

Its funny watching people say Disney is in the wrong here, do people actually know what a meth lab can do to a hotel/home? If one room is contaminated it puts people lives in danger from the toxic gases it leaves behind, that's fact. If something like that happened, Disney would have to tear down the whole building the meth lab was in, probably be sued by everyone who was in that building and be on the hook for all medical treatment that would entail costing potentially billions. Now while this idiot made a simple joke, its really nothing to joke around about. Walter White was not a hero, he was a bad guy.

Y'all do know that anytime a person interacts on a call with a CM, that conversation is entered into their computer system, along with what the attitude of the caller was during the call. Pretty much every single time that you go to guest services, and they know your name, it is entered into the system. If you continually complain about everything under the sun, Disney knows that you are a complainer, and treats you accordingly. There is simply no way that this is the first instance of him being a rude person to a CM. Disney was probably just tired of him and his rants, and told him to go away and not come back. If that is the case, I would have done the same thing.

Very true. I've had conversations with CMs - not complaining about anything - just telling them things like our favorite characters, princesses, oh how I wish you had a purple magic band, things like that. And I could clearly hear the CM typing in the background as we spoke. And sometimes we'd find a nice surprise in our hotel room after a long day at the parks. Like autographed photos of our favorite princess addressed to each of us.

Yeah, Disney collects data on its guests, not just through your use of a magic band. Think about that CM in the park asking you to stop for a few moments in order to answer some questions (survey). Think about the survey you complete on-line about your resort stay (I have two pending I need to complete). Think about conversations you may have with the CM as you check in at your resort.

I bet Disney has files on some guests that would rival an FBI/NSA file.

True. As he said in his video, he's blown his gasket, according to his wife. Usually not a good idea to mouth off to law enforcement when they've been called by a hotel proprietor because of your behavior.....

Not to mention the potential for a serious explosion.....

I didn't watch the video… But if you blow your gasket at law-enforcement? Be thankful all you got was a trespass warning…

I don't remember him saying that he got y with OCSO. He did say, somewhat as a justification for his behavior directed at Disney staff, that his wife says he sometimes blows his gasket. I'm just agreeing with your remark that his interaction with law enforcement may be more responsible for his removal from the hotel & banning from WDW than his meth lab comment.

I have several friends who are defense lawyers. They always tell you that any interaction with law enforcement, even if stopped for the most mundane reason, should be polite and respectful. "Yes sir/ma'am. No sir/ma'am. Good afternoon, officer, is there something wrong?"

Being polite, a tad charming and very apologetic got me out of a speeding ticket in Miami....

I don't think he's a swindler… I think it's a gas two lost his temper twice and has paid the price.

He mouth off while waiting in line which can take for ever at the front desk and most of us have said something under our breath in that attracted unwanted attention.

When the unwanted attention occurred, apparently he lost his mind A second time only with law-enforcement… And that's not a smart idea.

Should Disney have sent law enforcement to a guest room At midnight after the guy was being an ? Probably not.

Should the guy at react in such a way that it gets them a trespass warning? Probably not.

Both sides are in the wrong here.
