I know...
You're right, it wasn't.
the true core values of the Walt Disney Company,
People also said this would never happen...Where are the boos? People said there were boos...
As long as Marvel remains in creative control, the success of the MCU will only putter out depending on when the respective actors decide not to renew their contracts. I'm in full agreement with you that Star Wars will be the first to hit that point. When the IP crashes.
I say they have about a decade before Disney makes sure that GotG is the lamest most uncool IP on the planet.
The real question is which will get there first? GotG or Star Wars? With the 43 new Star Wars movies, the 23 Star Wars spin offs, the 12 stand alones, and the 9 TV series coming. I think Star Wars will hit the super saturation point first.
I'm pretty sure it's acquiring IPs and buying shares backPlease provide a citation from the Company for these values. So we all can be on the same page.
No no no, here's where you're mistaken, buddy. Disney did expect it. At this point, after so many years in the business they have to know it would have gone down badly. That's why it was announced at friggin' Comic-Con. Chapek's just too stubborn to realize it's not the best idea in the world. He thinks with dollar signs, not with sense. Like too much of today's Disney. And I hope that changes soon.Between the negative comments online and the booing fans at Comic-Con, Disney did not expect such negative reaction to an announcement that was meant to be their highlight this weekend.
I don't think the Marvel land is coming as soon as Breakout opens (but I have no connections so hey, I could be wrong). There's going to be a bit of buffer between the overlay and the new land, so I don't think it's fair to bunch them together. Joe Rohde was just hinting at whatever's coming next, nothing in the immediate future.I think people seem to be missing a major part of this... Isn't this going to be part of a major Marvel land and not just a standalone retheme?
A hint. Pretty sure you're reading way too far into poor Martin. It wasn't meant to be a hint, or it wasn't meant to be vague?
Sadly what 74 said is right.
Funny. I don't hear any boos. The response from the audience sounded so fake that it sounded like Disney planted cheering people to drown out any objectors. Maybe. I don't know..

They plan to have Breakout open next year, there is no way they will have a fill Marvel land done in that time.
That's what I was thinking. Way too soon to expect a Marvel land just yet. They plan to have Breakout open next year, there is no way they will have a fill Marvel land done in that time.
We need an amature in-crowd video to hear that...
It's not happening. Just wait for Universe of Energy's overhaul.I hope they retheme the one in Hollywood studios also.
I love tower of terror but its getting a bit tired and dated.
I looked around nothing has been brought up from that moment when it was announced..Any on YouTube yet?
