It's not bad. It's better than a lot of shows I've seen in theme parks, and live music is always a great addition.

Not to mention the performers (especially the male lead singer) seem really into it.

When I look at the line-up of oldie rock bands for F&W, almost none interest me. This, OTOH, for me, would be worth a watch.

Lots of women screaming at Star Lord. Seems there are a lot of moms there who wouldn't mind if Peter was... their son. They'd be so proud.

You know Chris Pratt will be 39 in a couple of weeks, right? It's not that crazy. ;)
Get 'em young and train 'em right; that's my motto!

My family and I did not watch it but we were having a nice lunch at Katsura Grill in Japan and could very clearly hear the music from there. It didn’t sound terrible but definitely takes away ambiance from other areas.

That's unfortunate, as that is one of my favorite places to eat and relax at because it is so peaceful and tranquil.

How long does this thing go for? Gosh I hope it's gone by the time I go in early Sep lol I assume this show is very similar to the one they do at CA in front of MB here in Anaheim.

The thing is though, it's no louder then the summer concerts or concerts done during the festivals.

Very true. That is a very good point you make. I think I've been lucky when I ate there and the concerts were not happening or it was before or after they had happened.
Yea most of the time I miss them.

Just figure I point that out before this thread turns into how Guardians is ruining EPCOT with music.

I enjoyed it from what I watched. Parts are a little cringey and it relied on the music from the films a little much, but overall it was neat. The actors for Starlord and Gamora looked and sounded better than what I’ve seen before at HS or Disneyland.

That's good. The guy that is Starlord at DL is sort of not good...he looks like a pudgy Conan O'Brien or Chris Pratt on Parks & Rec before he lost all of his weight and got in shape for GotG 1.

Yea it was a bummer. The singing by itself wasn’t bad, and I hate complaining about things in Disney, but that is an amazing spot to relax and chill. Right by the waterfall up there and the music was really loud.

I just realized my post sounded like I was there live (which I wasn’t) I was just making observations from the video lol.

I’m still not a fan thematically speaking, but the music was well done. Again at DHS, all of this GotG would feel right at home, but that ship has sailed. Guess we’ll have to deal with three years of them trying to convince us that it somehow fits at Epcot.

Get ready for Peter Quill narrating Candlelight, lol. :p

It’s not really the same thing as the concerts feature actual well known musicians that are there for only for a few days and then a new act comes in.

This is a show featuring charecters pretending to be famous actors playing the same set list 5 times a day for the whole summer.
