I got sick of his garbage. BUT I still think he's a hotty McToddy, so I can't promise there won't be a few late night, drunken phone calls to his receptionist.

And by "garbage" do you mean the $43.9 million in compensation he received last year? ;)

If you forget that it replaced Tower, ignore all the flaws (the entire outside portion, cut corners in the queue, rushed storyline, overuse of screens) it's not that bad.

Could you imagine if the real reason they are stalling Marvel land is because they are considering selling?

Selling the parks? :(

Haha no, Marvel. This is complete speculation based off Spirit saying he has explosive news regarding DLR and another unknown poster hinting at Disney considering selling Marvel on the same thread. Of course he could be completely BSing but I guess anything is possible. The "theory" is that Marvels value is at an all time high and that Disney may be looking to sell.

So I start to wonder... is it possible that Marvel land being stalled is not necessarily tied to the Eastern gateway delays but something bigger? But then you think why would they sort of kind of announce Marvel land at D23 then. Not to mention GOTG at Epcot. (They haven't started building though).

Whatever the case may be I think we can all agree that Disney hasn't shown the best long term (and even short term planning) lately when it comes to DLR.

@britain has some other very good theories on why Disney may be postponing Marvel land on page 46 of the Spirit thread.

Oh brother. If there was speculation they were selling the Muppets it might be believable, but Marvel? That's just hilarious. Not to mention the new streaming service Disney is about to launch that will likely depend heavily on studio content from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, and LucasFilm. Remember that wild rumor several years ago that Disney was planning to sell ABC? Then there was that crazy story buzzing on financial news sites earlier this year that Disney was quietly planning to buy Twitter. lol

I would take anything business related speculation about Disney on a fansite forum, especially a possible sale of Marvel, with an enormous grain of salt.
