Just look at the 6pm drop increasing 6100% from a week ago!
Today's 1pm drop ranks 6th all time high, and 6pm drop is a new all time high.

1pm drop lasted for 24586.054 secs, or ~6 hours 50 mins, closing at 7:50pm and setting a new all time record high.
Tuesday 1pm Drop Average: 1hr 42m -> 2hr 4m (+22m)

Up to BG 93 called at 1pm, 11 more than yesterday.

Note: The VQ closed 10 mins before the usual stop-gap at 8pm when BG's stop being called for the day. Have a hunch that ops just closed it as opposed to the allocated BG's running out for the day. There are no reports (yet) that standby was opened.

Thank you again for continuing to post these! I’m so interested to see if they move this to stand by/ ILL in the coming weeks.
I’m headed down with my daughter and 3 of her friends soon. For two of them, it will be their first time ever on WDW property. I want to plan the best park days for them. Planning for this ride is part of my overall ‘Epcot day’ strategy, so these updates have been so helpful!

It's a dead week at the part for sure, but I think it's clear that the ride doesn't need a VQ any more. Just make it standby, it will also have the side benefit of allowing re-rides which would probably drive demand higher. The different songs in particular would encourage re-rides.
A positive aspect of the VQ is that riders get to see the queue without having to wait in line for 60+.

For this attraction, the queue is a somewhat important part of the storyline.

Awesome would be if they kept the VQ but allowed people to sign up for both VQ's. (One can dream!)

any chance to change this to stand by/ILL in the next few weeks?
It's honestly all game now. Rat's standby was announced 98 days after the ride opened. CR has now been open for 97 days, so it can happen at any moment. Rat had a lead time of 4 days btw, so it went to standby on Day 102.

It's also probably the best time to do it as crowds are low as they've ever been since the the ride opened in May. Rat's standby opened early January, which is another low crowd time.

7am drop lasted for 5541.698 secs, or ~1 hour 32 mins.
Thursday 7am Drop Average: 13.3s -> 7m (+7m)

BG's 1-20 called at 8:13am as part of the initial wave.

Today is Day 98! On the same exact day for Remy's Ratatouille Adventure, Disney announced that it would end the VQ system and standby will open for the ride, 4 days later. Will the same happen for CR soon?

Final Day 98 Stats (9/1):
7am: 5541.7 secs, or ~1 hr 32 mins
1pm: 254147.5 secs, or ~6 hours 59mins

BG 197 (+7) is the last BG called for the day.

Average pace: 3-4mins/BG

VQ Drop Mean/Average:
7am: 13.3s -> 8m (+7m)
1pm: 1hr 3m -> 1hr 28m (+25m)

Note: Now that we are passed Day 98, we should expect the standby announcement to come any day now. Rat went to standby on a Monday, so if Disney wants the same for CR, that would land on Labor Day. If Disney were to wait after the holiday weekend, anytime after Sept 5 would be fair game, imo.
Also, the VQ drop was open for the longest period today since opening, breaking Tuesday's record!
