We finally had our chance to ride it last week and I happily did not get sick! :D
The poor guy behind us promptly got off and threw up in the garbage can. :(

We got Tears for Fears. I absolutely loved this ride. Felt like we were just gliding through space, listening to great music.
I found Tron more "thrilling" - that launch is fantastic, but overall liked GOTG more.

I rode the ride for the first time in February. I was lucky to get two rides in one day actually with LL and virtual queue. The first time we got Disco Inferno, I thought it was a fun time, but perhaps a tad bit overhyped by my friends who were with me. But the second time we got Everybody Wants to Rule the World and that was the best experience. I feel like the ride goes from good to great depending on which song you get, at least in my opinion.

I'd say in our experience good to excellent depending on the song. We still are missing 2 (Disco Inerno and September) and definitely have our favorites. Everybody Wants to Rule was hands down our least favorite. Next lowest was was I Ran... it was miles better than Everybody... for us, but still meh. Conga is our favorite followed by One Way...
Kind of unbelievable that we've had Conga half of our rides.

I really want to ride with September.

The odds...

The probability of getting all 6 songs in 6 rides is 1.5%.

The rest of the chances:

The median is 13 rides, the mean is 14.7.

This is a type of probability problem called the coupon collector's problem. The maths of it have been explored in great detail for 'collecting all 6' due to the humble six-sided die.

As you can see, you can ride it 22 times and still have 10% chance you haven't heard all six songs.

Isn't the pre show just a video on a screen ?

What are you expecting and why are you worried ?
The ride actually has a story and without the pre-show it doesn't make much sense. The first time I went, the pre-show broke down while we were in the room; it just never started and we walked to the ride, then all this stuff happens on the ride that references the pre-show and I had no idea what it meant. The second time I went, the pre-show worked and it all tied together. You can still enjoy it as a roller coaster and just figure "oh, we're... doing something to... save... the Earth?" but the pre-show really is integrated into the story of the ride. And there is actually a pretty neat effect in the pre-show that is worth experiencing.

Rode it for my first two times on Monday. Absolutely amazing even though I was definitely a bit wobbly after both rides. Preshow worked well both times, and I got September twice. It would have been nice to get a second song, but I cannot imagine a song working any better than that one. It's absolutely perfect for the ride!

I never paid attention to the preshow when we went. It was working but I was too busy looking at everything to pay any attention to what they were saying.

I hate pre-shows with a passion (Rise pre-show(s) is ridiculously long) and for once I actually enjoyed the pre-show! It wasn't too long, that one effect was pretty awesome and I like the music. Of course our first (and only so far) time on the ride we got stuck in the room after the big reveal but before you see the ride for 30 minutes.

Strangely the waiting calmed me down but made me husband get extremely anxious. 😄

I think you’re looking for a Six Flags then. A really odd thing to hate with a passion if you’re a Disney fan. You do realize the alternative is just a line, right?
