An image of the attraction poster was one of the images shown during the investor day preshow happening now.
I really thought we'd hear one today. Strange. No date given for Guardians still summer. I expected a date, surprised we didn’t get one. Surely, this has to be soon?
Were there any parks announcements at all?No date given for Guardians still summer. I expected a date, surprised we didn’t get one. Surely, this has to be soon?
Nope, unless we get an Apple-style "one more thing" at the endWere there any parks announcements at all?
Well it could have been better/worse (insert Galactic Starcruiser promos)I can't believe I just sat through a 2 minute commercial for tape... Thanks a lot!
Starting to think there is now some doubt about an opening. Today would have seemed almost a certainty for that announcement.
I can see Disney "receiving" a "transmission" from the Xandarians announcing that they're proud to finally unveil their pavilion to us Earth-dwellers.I’m curious now that a date wasn’t announced when do we think we can get news? Is it just going to be a random parks blog article? This is a huge new addition, not sure if that’s how they announce it but I can’t think of any other way. I assume an announcement, news, or something has to be coming soon.

Probably a month or two before opening day.
Seems reasonable to me.If that Memorial Day weekend tweet was correct, they don’t have much time. I think they will give more then a month’s notice. Especially if soft opens are going to happen.
I wish they could drop the apply crap and just embraced the true "BUT WAIT, THERES MORE!!!" of Billy Mays by actually announcing something.Nope, unless we get an Apple-style "one more thing" at the end
it used to be known as "what would walt do?" of course today, that is sooooo undisney and bob like!.Quote of the day.
Why is it rusting? This is positioned as though it is the icon of the Xandalarian pavilion at the Other-World Showcase, essentially a showpiece by the government of Xandar. The nature of the mount indicates this as well. Why would they display a used, beat-up craft? And if this is meant to be an actual docked craft, nothing about its placement or the design of the stand or surrounding landscaping makes any sense at all. At the most basic level, what is this prop meant to be?Remember when the IDEA behind EPCOT Future World was to showcase the wonders of shiny new future technology that would improve humanity?
40 Years laters we are celebrating the installation of brand new rusting movie prop.
Perhaps it is maintaining the story that it is the last to survive, post being destroyed by Thanos? Why is it rusting? Disney has been pretty clear on not acknowledging that in the attraction. If they do, this becomes a very bleak pavilion.Perhaps it is maintaining the story that it is the last to survive, post being destroyed by Thanos?
True, but by reports Nova will be coming to the MCU, perhaps this is how he gets there to begin with... Then again, all the fighters looked like this after the first GotG movie, remember the last fight?Disney has been pretty clear on not acknowledging that in the attraction.
