After all, they have all those show scenes to add still on the inside.I'm just gonna go ahead and predict that "Summer 2022" ends up being somewhere between December 2022 and August 2023, if we're lucky.
More likely Dave Bautista is in his "jennifer lawrence" era of not wanting to go trough makeup.
I'm sure it's going to be a lot of fun! A welcome addition to a park that needs it. Very excited to get to ride it in 2023.

Yep, I remember the fact that he was missing from the Skyliner wrap fueled this speculation. I’m so glad he’s going to be there though, it wouldn’t feel like a true GotG ride without him.

I wonder if WDW isn’t setting themselves up for a bit of failure with the incredibly long build time - people may be led to expect more then the ride is intended to deliver.

I agree with you, but fortunately for Disney, they're building Tron at the most popular theme park on Earth and the GP will eat it up regardless when it opens.

It's awesome to see Gunn so excited about this project. I mean, I feel like ever since this was announced, he's been giddy every time it's been discussed (I don't remember him being equally as excited for Mission Breakout for comparison purposes)

It's probably good to put some space between the opening of Velocicoaster and Guardians to avoid comparisons... Summer 2022 would put a full year...

Most people don't visit nearly as frequently as we all do. A lot of people won't have been to Epcot since Ellen closed.

From all accounts, this won't even be as thrilling as Expedition Everest, so it's not going to be fair to compare the two, even though we all know people will. I would love to see Disney try their hand at an actual thrill coaster again, I think they can do better than RnRC

People love to talk about what great capacity it had. Uh yeah, it had a ton of capacity and ran empty half the time because nobody liked it.I'm pretty sure anything will be better than the Ellen ride. Was not a fan.

Both Tron and CR will be received well by most park goers who wont care about build time.
However, within this particular DisTwitter type community, I expect universal praise for Tron despite it taking much longer to build, it being a MUCH shorter ride time....lower capacity ergo longer waits, and a clone than Guardians mostly because of the EFBs
