Was that not already confirmed?^^There you have it!
Martin, on a scale of 1 to 10, (1 being strictly a joke and 10 being integral story element) how much of a factor does the "Peter Quill visited Epcot as a kid" play into the new attraction?More coaster less dark ride.
No, it was...but some people still had doubts. Was that not already confirmed?
Oops.
To be quite honest, I've not been interested enough to find out. I've been more concerned with what's being done to the existing pavilion and the ride system and planning for the new attraction.Martin, on a scale of 1 to 10, (1 being strictly a joke and 10 being integral story element) how much of a factor does the "Peter Quill visited Epcot as a kid" play into the new attraction?
Thanks Marni. That is another missed opportunity imho, but it is what it is. I feel the same way about Tron. Tron should definitely be a roller coaster with dark ride elements to take it to the next level, but I'm still quite excited about it.More coaster less dark ride.

This is really starting to sound like a RnRC copy, just with Quill's mixtape instead of Aerosmith songs.
Which would have been a logical overlay solution in the first place...This is really starting to sound like a RnRC copy, just with Quill's mixtape instead of Aerosmith songs.
because it is an indoor roller coaster?

Yes.
That's what I was thinking. Better fit in DHS as well but I guess they didn't want so many rides down at once.
I would imagine that the effects will be significantly better than what is in RnRc...rather than just some huge cut outs.
Yes, a shinier RnRC copy.
I think it's a bit unfair
You're entitled to that opinion.
Probably a safe one for now.
If you say so.
A lot of the references could be more thoroughly presented in the queue and then pop up occasionally on the ride itself.
