And how much would an update of UoE have cost in comparison?
I’m not an expert but not nearly as much. Perhaps with enough left for a proper Imagination refurb.

Can i ask whats the end goal for the large area to the left of gravity building but behind UOE building? Backstage 100%? Location for grave yard?
It's just a blank space in the original permits.
Maybe an even bigger box will go there.

So you’re telling me this giant unthemed box and repurposed building with a roller coaster inside cost in the ballpark of $450 million???
I’d rather have 4 Everests....though I’m sure one of those would probably cost $300 million now too.

They need to replant and build up the berm in this area closet to the front gate. The thin line of trees now allows too much of a view of the GotG show building from ground level.
Maybe this can be a part of the reforestation of EPCOT as they relandscape areas of future world

The board have been frustrated with them for years. But the board are the ones that can change it.

I can’t wait for 30 years from now when the box gets a re theme so I don’t have to worry about who the hell Peter Quill is, why he’s at Epcot, and why road-trip sing-along songs are being blasted in my ears at Walt Disney World.

Although I doubt it, I'm hoping they use comic based/animated version of the characters for the attraction. While the cinematic versions I feel get dated, the comic/animated version are the truer source material and can last a lifetime.
Like Universal's Spider-man...smart decision. Imagine if they had done that attraction using the movie actors? They'd have to change it non stop.
