It'll look nicer when half of it isn't just a bunch of steel girders, but it'll still be super visible. If it's actually getting some minor theming then it could work quite nice.

I can’t see how any degree of theming would look good now that they’ve decided to go the camouflage route. The result would end up being strangely noncommittal and disharmonious.

Again (and there are many more posts on this matter after the one you quoted), we’re talking about a car park. No car park can be themed to look like anything other than a car park. It can be well maintained and presentable, but it will never stop looking like an uninspiring expanse of asphalt filled with cars. In such a setting, seeing the back of a show building really shouldn’t get anyone into a tizzy.

we were talking about the stuff INSIDE the park that you can see from the car park.

Yes, I know. As I said, I consider the car park a utilitarian backstage area, the views from which aren't all that important. Others feel differently, and that’s fine.

The gravity building as of today. Panels are going higher and higher.

As long as the sky cooperates and is always that shade of blue this could work.

If it doesn’t, we blame the sky.

Yeah I gotta say this looks quite good to me! It's better than a solid color or themed to a studio or solid grey show building. I think it would be silly to waste budget on theming the side the parking lot sees. It's about inside the park that matters. This is pretty convincing!

My Apple Maps view updated recently. Here you can see the realignment of Avenue of the Stars (backstage road that circles EPCOT). You can see how it hugs Wonders of Life more now where there used to be a small parking lot. You can even see the old section just above the new section.

What if: the end result is meant to evoke a building in "camouflage mode" and this go-away paneling is just step one of a larger planned theme to make the building appear futuristic, holographic, and hidden by means of advanced alien technology?

These panels cannot support much weight.
