Don't you wish it was 100%?I'm 40% sure this isn't true.

He plays an Imagineer in favor of building a futuristic park until Josh Brolin steps in to bend the will of the Imagineers.Sounds like a fine idea to me. Although the ride can't fully be christened without a cameo from Stan Lee.
This one always gets me...Looking a this gives me the same feelings I had when I looked at this:
From the looks of how they are removing it, its going straight into the dumpster.I was just going to post this. Too bad they didn't/couldn't re-purpose it. Unless it's being relocated or archived. Link to the update: http://blogmickey.com/2017/09/photo-iconic-wall-tile-removed-universe-energy/
I agree but there are "2" murals. They are mirrored versions of each other so it is possible that one is being saved. If they aren't even saving one, that's a bummer. So much for getting a hold of a chunk of it.From the looks of how they are removing it, its going straight into the dumpster.
They could totally sell each of those tiles for a small fortune, enough to pay for at least one animaltronic to stick around.I agree but there are "2" murals. I agree, a small 4x4 tile section would be neat to own. They could totally sell each of those tiles for a small fortune, enough to pay for at least one animaltronic to stick around.
Thats a lot of space!!Yeah. Existing building is queue, pre-show(s), load/unload. Then you get transported (launched?) into the other building for the coaster.
You're kidding right? What a shame, I was hoping we'd get something like this:
It truly is something beautiful to look at. Did you know it was inspired by oil refineries?
More likely, they're chipping it into 2mm pieces for the "WaltDisneyWorld History" pin series on which they'll encapsulate it over a cloisonne image of the pavilion and sell it to you for $15.99 (tax not included). Like this one, with a piece of the chandelier in the bubble...From the looks of how they are removing it, its going straight into the dumpster.

I actually said exactly that just a couple posts up. What a waste. (The pins, not your post)Oh, I am sure that Universe of Energy mural will be repurposed. Those titles will be broken into into chips that can be fitted into pins and sold as own "A Piece of Walt Disney World" limited edition memorabilia.

Of course...You're kidding right?
Well, if they do, the education will be in the preshows. We get a lot of information about Pandoran ecosystem and a pro-ecology lesson in the FoP pre-shows.
Given the footprint of the attraction (using the *whole* UoE pavillion for a queue/preshow, and some rumors that WoL could be part of that as well? That seems like...a lot..), I'm wondering if there isn't something we don't know about this attraction - like maybe, besides a pre-show, there's a dark ride component to the attraction that is somewhat educational (ecology, possible futuristic energy sources, or something like that), before launching you into the coaster..
And given the size of this queue, everyone gets to be cool (well at least after the first 6 months when everyone realizes it is just another roller coaster with some video screens)Martin has said there won't be a slow dark-ride-like element (similar to 7DMT). I wouldn't bet on an educational aspect, though, WDI could surprise us. The lengthy queue with pre-shows isn't invented for the sake of edutainment, it's now the state-of-the-art for new E-Ticket class rides that need to keep people more entertained than educated for the two hours they're in the queue.
