For what it's worth...and I dunno about what drama came prior to the post I'm replying to...(because I'm not in this thread to go on a scavenger hunt...)

I've fought many a bloody and savage battle on this website, in these very same forums...I've fought with some of the biggest DB's you can imagine...and I've sparred with some people who really know their crap...

I'll just say this: The number of posts that one has (and likes) tells you a LOT about what they know/don't know. And it's probably best to take your lumps and learn from it. Do this while giving respect to those who came before you or know a lot. This is unless you're like Joe Rhode or Tony Baxter in disguise (which, the odds are astronomical that this is the case).

Move on...move up...and learn something from these folks...they are a valuable resource to you. And even if you're 100% right about something (which, you may or may not be) at the end of these fights I know I usually feel like I've shown my backside and I feel bad for propagating a buncha s***.

So...lets just get back to the subject matter.

And yes. You're entitled to your opinion. For better or worse.

There. Someone with more posts than you has said it.

Have a nice day. :)

Well I don't know if it's a dumb idea, I'm sure this would draw a crowd, but it just seems "bankrupt" to me more because of how "desperate" a move it seems to be... like "we to really really want people to come to Epcot, maybe popular comic book super heros will make people come to Epcot?"

If they are just going to cram an IP in Future World for attention, my vote would be for that new Tron Coaster. Even if they took the Tron name off of it, it at least looks like it's from a "World of The Future" and there's an elegance and sophistication to it that reminds me of 1980's EPCOT CENTER that the current Epcot is seriously lacking

There is some very nice elegance and sophistication to that design, and it could easily be made into Xandar.

Thank you for taking the time to write a decent reply.

Maybe new people would stick around longer if people were not rude to them and didn't judge them by their post count. I simply pointed out to this Marnie person that their post could of been construed as rude as well. when they replied i said 'fair enough' and asked a question. I also pointed out that i had seen they had inside information in the past and have since 2014 been taking a great deal of time reading this website and the boards and in particular had noticed Marnie and WDW1974 and appreciate it the information that it provides however and forgive me in advance but you are not holding Disney accountable as a community you are voicing your opinions the only people who hold Disney accountable are the shareholders.... i am well aware that Disney like any other business is not perfect however I would expect that grown adults could have more civilised discussions since there's much worse things going on in the world than the state of Disney.

So in conclusion... thank you for the welcome but I am not sure whether I will stick around yet.
Marine person? I'm sure most of use are familiar outside of the WDWMagic forum with him as "Martin" best known for his Walt Disney World Tribute/Ultimate Tribute videos (My favorite being his history videos for Journey Into Imagination and Wonders Of Life).

The Nemo attraction is 'hey, wheres Nemo' staring the cast of the movie.. and doesn't connect at all with The Living Seas pavilion. They didn't even TRY to tie the things together... which is why even after replacing the pavilions original attraction, its still all disjointed and people go 'hrm.. nice aquarium??' and not much else.

Except at aquariums go, it's not even very nice.;)
LMAO!

Please please please please please keep Hooter.

I love that we are still seeing comments from people who KNOW Disney can't put any Marvel in Florida. Do any of us actually think the we, individually, understand the intricacies of the Marvel agreement better than Disney's legal team?

How many of those commenters hold J.D.s? And work in an appropriate field? Divorce attorneys don't count.

There are plenty of lawyers who visit these forums and the contract is publicly available to see. ON TOP OF THAT, I believe Bob Iger has previously confirmed they couldn't do anything with Marvel at WDW during a Shareholder Q&A a year or two back.

Either:

A) They have reached a new understanding with Universal for non-avengers characters separate from the old deal
B) They have figured out a loophole for obscure characters
C) This is just something WDI and Burbank are talking about (possibly with Universal) and its merely in the discussion/blue sky phase
D) Rumor is totally bogus

A certain poster with two initials and a number comes to mind as having an enormously-high post count and a low like-count...

He's not here today to talk about the grand future for Epcot and how it will be better than it's ever been in about three weeks and how he predicted it all along. In his opinion.
I wonder who that could be?

A travesty. Of all Future World pavilions, one themed to health and disease should have been easy to maintain.
Yes you would think so. BUT DISNEY struggled to get MET to sign up. I don't know the process to trap, I mean get a sponser to sign up to any attraction, I think they snare the victim, err sponser then create to the sponsors business. After MET left, there were not a lot of takers to a health themed attraction.

DEPENDS.... with that firm answer said, as I recall the UOE building is huge. On the other hand, the UOE building as seen from the outside is RECOGNISABLE on site. They will have to make an incredible facade to make guests think GALAXIE and not Universe. Besides, the original building cost a fortune and it would be cheaper to just ad a wing if they needed it.

An add on was kinda my thoughts as well. The can come out towards the main walkway quite a bit before they have to deal with intruding on the monorail track or anything else. This combined with a reskin of the roof and some paint and you have the makings of an enormous show building with much less cost than it would be to start from scratch.

You know when EPCOT was cool? When solar panels powered the UoE ride..back when solar panels were not mainstream sources of energy. When you took an escalator in one of the Communicore buildings and they showed you how computers controlled everything in the parks...long before most families had 3-5 computers in their homes and 9 year olds walked around with smart phones in their pockets. At this point, I think it is darn near impossible for Disney to stay ahead of technology in future world. By time they finished an attraction it could very well be obsolete...which I believe has been EPCOT's problem all along. I am just happy they are not wedging an Apple store in next to Starbucks. My favorite part of future world? The fiber optic walkways, as long as they keep those I am happy.

There is a science museum in Philadelphia that does the same sort of thing. Ironically, they have an exhibit right now called "The Science of Pixar" which is something that would have fit great in Epcot.
I heard The Science Of Pixar sounded very cool

I'm happy bc that area needs some excitement by way of a change and I hope this means my Tower can continue in its old world Hollywood Twilight Zone theme

There are plenty of things being invented every day and new technologies.

An example: Smart cars could easily be presented post test-track.
