Agreed, it's sad we've gotten to this point but I'd take GOTG in energy over it in TOT anyday if those are the options.
Disney be like,

Not mentioned as the post is from 2009, but also the plot between Mexico and Norway has been used with the additions from the Frozen project.

And sadly only a cropping of the actual available space was used, which is not how the expansion pads were originally intended.

To be fair to our favourite punching bag JT - I can think of at least one on these forums who is convinced the park will indeed be soon closed and sold for parts... Around the time China steals all of Disney's assets.

I do weirdly get endless satisfaction from watching Marni... "put up" with him though.

I think his message was taken too literal... "has a future" meaning "things are actually going to happen and it's not going to continue to rot" I can't speak for any other possible crystal ball predictions

Is former WOL building still being considered for a GOTG part II? I really want that area of the park to get some love even if they must demo the building, however I still don't see it necessary for GOTG to get two attractions.

Wait, so they're planning to open 3 E-tickets in one park in 2019?

I find that incredibly hard to believe. Even if SW is a huge draw, it will already have been open in DL, and many fans will have gone there to see it first.

So, really, is the plan for 3 new E-tickets in one park in one year?

At the outset, it would appear so. Budget cuts haven't taken hold yet, so whether they go through with it as though they're working up E's is anyone's guess.

As crazy as it may seem, it's actually pretty believable. They'll likely want to spread demand across the park. SWL opening is going to be a huge, huge draw. A lot of people, I think, underestimate how big it's going to be.
