Grocery delivery...

Anyone have a grocer they have used to have groceries delivered to their WDW hotel?

We are spending a copy of days with family before and after our WDW trip. I know they would be happy to take us to the store to pick up some snacks (beer for the adults :)) and things for when we are at the hotel but then I would have to cart them with me to the hotel and drop it off when we check in, which we will be doing early since family with be dropping us off to start our trip.

Just think it might be easier to have it delivered after we check in even thought it me be more money. Any do something similar to this?

Orlandothemeparkshoppers.com will get you any brand from any store. They are much more reasonable with prices than the other grocery delivery places too. No minimums required, no gas charges, and tipping is definitely not expected.

However, they won't bring alcohol. Their web site says it can't be left at the resorts. This isn't true though, we do it every year with garden grocer, so I don't know why they say this.

Used Green Grocer on my last trip and it was great. I logged on to their website, ordered what I wanted and it was waiting for me at the resort when we got there. So convenient and worth the money.

Used Garden Grocer twice now and will be using again in June. Have been very happy with the service and it's nice to not have to spend vacation time going to a store and we don't rent a car.

Checked with Orlando Theme Park Shoppers. They will deliver alcohol. Website will be updated today. What is great about Orlando Theme Park Shoppers is they also do gift bags, so you can get groceries and a little surprise for the kids, too!
Yup, I emailed them this morning to let them know that they could deliver alcohol to the resorts. They got back to me and after calling Disney and said they were going to change their policy.

Another vote for Garden Grocers, used them on our last trip, and it worked great. Interested in checking out OTPS, too, though, was not familiar with that service. I'm not understanding re the absence of tipping with OTPS, though. Do they discourage it? Frankly, if someone is going to go and do my grocery shopping for me and bring it to my resort, I would fully expect to tip them...

I use the Garden Grocer. It is what it is I have no vechile and I can't carry 2 cases of water with me. For us the convenience of the drop off is worth it to us. We also have a one year old so instead of lugging diapers and wipes with us we order them. It is cheaper for us bc of baggage costs on airlines. Between the amount we drink during the day and the few beers he have in the evening it is still cheaper than paying disney prices!
You don't have to be at your room to receive your order. They deliver it to the bell hop station and leave a mesage in your room. If you order alcohol you have to fax them a copy of your drivers license.
We are trying them this year too... staying at WLV and love the idea of a full fridge, microwave and toaster. (NO stove for me I am NOT cooking!!)

I used Orlando Theme park Shoppers last week to send me some gift bags for raffle prizes at an expo I was in for my business. I was impressed in the quality and the care they took in shipping the items to me. I have had issues with a couple of the other personal shoppers forgetting items or orders before. They are the new guys on the block and like I said I am impressed with them.
