Had a boat captain a couple years ago tell us the wave machine worked until "a couple years ago" but they shut it off "once that gator came for dinner."

I'm most interested to know how far along this is going week to week. Pics from the monorail are greatly appreciated, especially of the fixed bridge on GF side and the new boat dock on MK side. I'm considering a visit in September and would love to walk around the lake. Thank you!

I can appreciate the sentiment behind this.

However week by week updates depends on people being there and taking photos. And obviously right now there will typically be far fewer forum members thee at any one time, let alone ones who have an interest in taking photos from the monorail.

Often the photos posted are taken from say Bioreconstruct but I don’t know how active he is right now.

So then the thread gets lost amongst all the other more active threads. O/T chat keeps it at on the first page and perhaps that will remind someone who is there to take a photo or two.

Is it honestly that hard to just scroll through the thread and stop at photos? I do that on tons of threads but don't tell everyone to stop talking because I only want to see daily photos and nothing else. Besides, this thread is barely off topic compared to all the others.

Regardless of how on-topic this thread is or isn't, you still won't be able to walk around the lake in September. There's no legal walkway from the CR to the TTC.

Yes, thank you, I realize that. I was going to start at TTC and end at the Contemporary. It's close enough.

I suggested weekly only to start the conversation. I'd appreciate anything I can see. Bioreconstruct appears to be in CA this week but I also follow his reports.
