DAY 347
Bio got some good shots today of the movable bridge:
Really curious about the 1’+ gap difference between both sides.
That has to have been a mistake right?

I was thinking the same thing. Maybe there's a piston or something that pushes it up into position after it fully closes? That way there's no lip at all to trip someone? And, when it opens, it won't scrape on that cover piece that's covering the gap.I wonder if the bridge lowers slightly when it's rotating and then goes back up to close the gap.
I would think there is a 10 foot piece that will lay over the gap and act as a ramp. The piece is raised on each end to form a barrier as the bridge rotates out of positionI was thinking the same thing. We still need a fixed bridge over the smaller canal first. Unless there’s a zip line.Thank you WDWtraveler! Just a few more weeks and it should be open!!

????It has to be able to move for tidal fluctuations, as well.
You know what I mean...????
Maybe excess rainwater but there are no tides that matter on the seven seas lagoon.
The bridge was on site last week and may have already been installed. We still need a fixed bridge over the smaller canal first. Unless there’s a zip line.
