Grand Avenue and Baseline Tap House

I really like the idea of this space. Also, not being able to find good cold beer on tap in that park literally always makes me groan. What a great idea. But it just dawned on me...Star Wars Land and Star Tours will be entirely disconnected?

Yes. Star Tours will either be rethemed in the future or another ride will be built (around a different IP)

Nobody wants light (healthy) snacks. Seriously. They don't sell. People don't got to Walt Disney World looking for cucumber salad. They go for five pound turkey legs and hot dogs covered in macaroni and cheese.

Did I miss something? Where do you get hot dogs covered in mac and cheese?!

Yes, this has been known for quite some time now.

What are the plans for Star Tours? Will it be relocated to SWL now? or will we go from Star Tours to Downtown LA and then through a tunnel to SWL:GE?

It will not be relocated. Rumor is that it will likely be re-themed to something else sometime after Star Wars Land opens. Until then it will operate disconnected.

I just noticed that there is scaffolding along the back of the first section of the facades. I assume they are doing something to make this look finished since if the past you could see the back of the façade.

I'm pretty sure they're enclosing that building as part of the new bar, if this place is supposed to have many taps, I'd assume they'd want more space for people than the tiny writers shop offered.

Question... is this going to be listed as it's own area on the park map? Or will this and MC be listed together under one banner?

Even though they're different, I feel like they're both a bit too small and insignificant to list under seperate names. Every other area of the park will be fairly large with at least one ride, and then you have these two. It feels too messy for the OCD egg.

Well Muppet Vision 3D's theater name has been changed to Grand Arts Theater probably to better incorporate it into the adjacent avenue but my guess would be that it will just be known as Muppets Courtyard and the street name wont be listed as an area just a street on the map.
We still don't know what the Mouse has planned for Commissary Lane and Star Tours, for all we know Muppets could be getting another attraction or Grand Ave. could be expanded onto Tatoonie Alley and south to Backlot Express.

I'm sure it will be the crappy mass distributed Cali beers like, Stone, Lagunitas, etc. Don't expect to see any Russian River Pliney on those taps :(.

I actually love some of the stuff Stone has been putting out (the 7.04.17 best by was awesome) but I would also love to see some new breweries represented. I love going to UK at Epcot for my Innis and Gunn fix which is tough to find on tap here in Georgia.

Late to the party, but a quick aside...

I live in Stone founder's home town of Pataskala, Ohio... Their seasonal "Pataskala Red X IPA" was first brewed and sold as a 100% fundraiser for the band program with which I teach. Stone's beer is great, but their charitable commitment relative to their size is pretty astonishing.

Pataskala Red isn't for everyone, but if you like deep, malt heavy IPA's, give it a shot when it comes back out next spring.
