Grammatical Error Pointed out by 4th Grader

I could say so much right now about being snotty and bratty (especially in regards to the pink princess camera) but I won't. I will say this. I am a high school English teacher. I am not offended. I do not care. It's a flipping sign. If I had ever noticed it, I might have looked at it, giggled, pointed it out to my husband, and went on with my life. I think the bigger issue here is that this was even news. Greece is being destroyed by riots. The Grand Ole Opry has quite possibly lost some of its most important artifacts. We are involved in conflicts overseas. No, I am not a doom and gloom person but the fact remains that this is not news. This is not even human interest.

The Disney web site on Primeval Whirl has a mistake too. It says the height minimum is 48 inches, or 122 centimeters. But 48 inches is really equal to 121.92 centimeters.

Now I await my 15 minutes of fame.

i honestly think since the monorail collision (God bless their souls) that WESH 2 has been doing all this. u know the kid killed by getting his bike caught on the back of the bus, the whole ferry attempted murder with the searacer, and now the 10 yr old girl with the grammer correction, all WESH 2. who knows who gonna be the next victim of their evil plot.

This isn't news, and it isn't an error.

Hello...it's called theming? A joke?

Seriously...this is worthy of a news story and they pay no attention to the giant broken Yeti around the corner?:brick:

YUCK! AK is in a MESS!
Yesterday we were going to see the Safari ride in AK but to get there we had to walk through the worst looking mess of a Disney park area I've ever seen.
There were wires dangling from rusty poles.
Paint missing on buildings.
The ground was stained from who knows what.
The restroom buildings were covered with old posters that people had tried to peel off.
What has happened to the clean-ups that Disney was famous for?
Budget cuts are ruining the place.
I heard there are less people coming to Disneyworld and I can see why.

We just decided not to even try the Safari.
If that's how Disney keeps its buildings we figured the Safari trucks should be a mess and break down out where the animals might hurt us.

We just watched the parade (good, BTW) and then left the park to try and eat somewhere better (Cracker Barrel, just down the freeway).

Tomorrow we are going to go back to AK and try the Everest mountain ride.
That area is NEW, at least so it should not have had time to become so run-down (I hope)!

Another horrible error, before EO begins,

it says Three Dee production, where it should say. 3-D for three dimensional. I noticed this way back in the early 90s and no one ever did a piece on me.

I understand Disney not wanting to hurt feelings but the entire anctici.....pation factor is the joke. You are expecting to see one second, rather than seconds...and thus, the main elemenet of humor.

This girl was just noticing something she learned and that is fine and all, but as the story points out itself she laughed, she got the joke. Disney should not be clailming to do such things as correct it.

I always thought it was like that because the ride is kinda goofy, and its "mascots" (of sorts) - the two little dinosaurs - aren't exactly grammar wizzes. That family sure has a great story to tell now...

Maybe if the post he quoted had included some 's it would have been more blatantly obvious it was satire? :brick:
