I was just on Disney’s website looking to see if EMM is available for my sister’s dates..

Noticed a new tour-
https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/events-tours/ultimate-nights-of-adventure-vip-tour/

If you think about it, the FPs are a decent deal, especially for people who book the “extra events” or dessert parties for rides and/or viewing.

That tour was introduced around the same time they stopped the evening EMH every night for Pandora.

IF you were planning to stay CL anyway, the extra FPs and night-time show would negate having to do any EMM, rope dropping, PPO breakfasts and desert parties (other than Star Wars). EMM is $70 or $80, a PPO breakfast maybe $30, desert party $70. Even if my prices are a bit high, that's still about the same as the cost of this new package.

I think it's going to be very popular amongst CL guests. And that's worrying, because they might decide to expand. I'm not sure which group might be targeted, and what the limit might be, but the following spring to mind

- AP holders
- DVC
- certain resorts (less likely imo, since they want to move away from the current categories)
- anyone prepared to pay

I wouldn’t like to see it expanded to AP or all DVC rooms. I would hope for it to be kept to certain resorts, and certain room types at each of those resorts. Basically, any standard room over $700 per night, maybe even $600. At least those people would have an opportunity for something special when spending that much per night.

The price point for this is too expensive. My best client who always stays club level balked at the price. Plus there are restrictions to the three passes. These fast passes need to be any fast pass ride at any time. Right now its a tough up charge to sell.

Truthfully with the prices people are paying to stay club level these should be free. Or at least get an extra fast pass.

Yeah, I'm waiting for people to actually say "I have booked this for my trip and think it is a great value". I know there have been posts elsewhere that people have claimed this, but this discussion has gone on for quite a number of pages and we have yet to see anyone here.

You know how easy it is for a pounder to self justify anything...

$15 for a ride on a splash mountain...

Just for reference...I was there when it opened and the 4 day/3 park hopper was $84 dollars...

Time and prices change...but insanity is constant.

That tour has been around for at least a few years...it was kicked around on webboards like this at the time.

They'll continue to roll these out as long as they gain any traction...like the goofy one at DAK.

It wasn’t around in April of ‘17, or at least not in March. I checked every available tour for Easter week.
I guess there’s the possibility that I somehow overlooked it.. but I even called and don’t remember this being offered.

How many people in this thread stay at these resorts, in club level, and currently have a trip planned?
I can’t imagine it’s an overwhelming amount, there’s not even an overwhelming amount of rooms in those categories. You’d need a much larger sample size.

I'm not taking a survey, LOL. I just would be interested to hear someone first-hand stating that they think this is a good enough value to pay for it.

I'm surprised you haven't booked it yet, considering how you seem to feel the need to reply to any post that questions the value of it.

So we went to Disneyland last month and we were able to do the $10 per day MaxPass. I can honestly say, it was brilliant!

it was $10 a day per person but we were able to ride SO many more attractions. We would get off one thing, and it would give us a fastpass for a few minutes later.

IF this system would do that, then I would pay for it. You couldn't pick your selections for FastPass until you entered the gates and then it would work. So they were not running out of FP's 60 days in advance. But did I read $50 per day? that's silly.

Nope, I don’t stay in club level rooms, I don’t see the value in them for us...but I’d love if it got extended to other room types. Just wanted to point out that this thread isn’t a good way to judge if people are taking advantage or not.

This sounds like an overall better solution and would certainly allow for a great deal more spontaneity than the current FP+ system. $10 seems expensive enough considering the price of entry tickets.

The only downside to the system is, you have to get the $10 for every day of your ticket or none at all. But we hit easily everything in the parks multiple times on some days for DL and DCA. It felt better than the constant planning. And when you are in line and it breaks down, they just add the FP for ANY attraction that day and its put onto your ticket/app.

Maxpass is a way better option...but then again the logistics/demographics of Disneyland are quite different. I don't knew what the average stay length is at Disneyland...but it's likely half what it is in Orlando. They also have a much higher percentage of passholders on any given day.

That’s a different tour. I started a thread on here complaining about the removal of EE from it.lol. I haven’t done it as a result of the change to Soarin’.. but I know of at least one person on this site who has.

"Different tour" is somewhat relative...all of them are meant to exploit overcrowding of a park that costs around $100 for the $250-300 Price point.

I honestly stopped paying attention to the "difference"...it all boils down the the same concept they've been doing for a while after the housing rebound.

...unless the elephants are gonna serve you tea or they've gonna show you Walt's cryo frozen body in the castle apartment...it's just a higher price for the same stuff.

The only restrictions to the EFPs are no repeat rides. Otherwise none that I can think of.

And CL is hard to book, so there's always been people willing to pay for CL without this. Interest is apparently "very high" among CL guests already booked.

If they are paying money for the fast pass they should be able to go on a ride three times if they want. Or at least twice. Right now out of 6 fast passes you can't repeat any ride. Stupid. My client was interested too until she figured out it was not a good deal.
