Got my new planning DVD

I got my new planning DVD in the mail today! :sohappy: While my husband and I were watching it, we noticed something very interesting. The Magic Kingdom Mountains are mentioned with pictures of only Splash and Thunder. There is no picture or utterance of Space. I can't remember the exact wording, but it's something like those who tackle this duo. That's a big change from the triple mountain whammy. I haven't watched the whole DVD yet. I will edit and report as necessary in case there's a mention of Space later on in it.

I ordered mine awhile ago too...wonder why I don't have it yet. *Pouts*

So, if it's a lot of recycled YOAMD material, the million dollar question is..............

Does it still have creepy Steven who likes to make friends with little kids? :ROFLOL:

I received my DVD as well. It seems exactly like the YOAMD DVD...I feel they could have done better. But I will still watch it.

Boo!

*Pouts in the corner*

Is it really the same exact one for you, JrBernal83?

I agree that it's a lot more recycled stuff than I expected. The "look" of the DVD is basically the same as YOAMD with the cloudy Dream scenes and many/most of the same people (CM's and "civilians" :animwink:). However, some of the animated characters in the background have been replaced with the WWYC Mickey baloons.
Some of the music is the WWYC music, but also there's also a fair amount of rehash music as well.

As others have mentioned, some of the content has been updated, but we also get a visit from the screaming, curly-blonde-haired little girl on Splash Mountain from the mid-90's era! (I always love seeing that "retro" planning DVD stuff!)

Overall, I wish that it was a little more unique.

I liked the YOAMD DVD for what it's worth - it was cute - but it lacked the liveliness and attention-grabbing of Erin and the crew!

I'm assuming you mean Steven from EE?

eh...it was an okay DVD. They reused far to much of the "dreams" rubbish from the YoaMD which has perhaps a tenuous connection (at best) to the 2009 "celebration". The new actual footage was nice though (e.g. Haunted Mansion, Midway Mania).
