Hi There

I will miss the top seven must do's....I have to admit the minute we check into our room I flip the TV on to her, as my way of saying Yep I AM HERE!!!
Change is good though, maybe this new Stacy Video will be just as good. I will still flip that TV channel on regardless. I have to admit the closer I get to my trip I go on YouTube to watch the old Stacy's must see's..It gets me all excited... Take care now and thanks for the update.

I was pleasantly surprised with the change. Still uses a number of clips from "Top 7", but less hyper and more informational. So yes, now we no longer have to watch a top 7 that is actually 35...

Looks much more like the DVC tips video now.

Top 7??! That was like 107....


I enjoyed the Top 7 with Kryssa b/c I falsely assumed it was all ad-libbed and kind of fun. But then they bring in Stacey and everything is word for word, laugh for laugh, and body movement for body movement with the original. Way too rehearsed and that cheapened the overall effect.

I was always a huge fan of the old WDW Resort TV, but over the years I've gotten accustomed to the Top 7 videos.

Looking forward to checking this new video out in Sept/Oct this year :)

Did you really get free dining for Thanksgiving? We are going next Thanksgiving and I never dreamed they would have free dining around that time...:confused:

It seemed they only made the show for the under 18 year old crowd. Sounds they have made an upgrade on resort TV. Looking forward to seeing it in June. Wow. Worst changes in WDW history? Calm down, its a stupid segment on resort TV. Can we at least save the scare-mongering for something that actually matters?

No more Triple Mountain Whammy... no more Stacy screaming sentences to us as she emerges from the wave pool ... no more chairlifts making her look fat... no more Test Track being pedal to the metal... no more France, Germany, Mexico, yummy, yummy, yummy...

What a perfect way to celebrate during "What Will You Celebrate?"!

Yes, I updated a reservation I had made booking at Disney Travel Co UK. (which is just a UK number that switches to the Central Reservations but with the price in £££££). They have free dining till just before Christmas week.

That's not exactly the way I meant it. I meant it was one of the worst changes in that the drop off from one thing to the thing that replaced it. I was referring to the gap in quality between Tip For Today to the Top 7 show, which is like comparing The Godfather to Fast and Furious. And yes the Top 7 was a stupid segment on resort TV. Previous versions were fantastic primers for your vacation that were entertaining and did a great job of exciting you about your stay. Hopefully this new show is a step in the right direction.

We loved Stacey's Top 7. I remember when I found it on youtube a couple years ago I turned up the speakers, turned it on, and it was like some sort of homing-call to my hubby and sons. All 3 came running into the room excited to see Stacey! It was so cute. Every night we're at WDW when it's time to go to sleep we turn all the lights off, turn Stacey on just loud enough you can hear her, and the boys go right to sleep.

Buuut, even tho we love the old top 7, we're super excited to have something new to watch when we get back to our happy place. For me, that's NEXT month! WoooHOOOOOO!!!! :sohappy:

My goodness... Though I really, really, really miss Tip for Today, none of that matters. When I'm in WDW, Resort TV stays on the ENTIRE (and I mean entire) time, no matter how annoying, repetitive, etc. Stacy, you will be missed as well.

*Moment of silence*

Now it's time to plan another trip so I can experience the new Resort TV! :D
