That would be British Revolution, not a Beatles tribute band. For the recordBeatles Tribute band that used to be in UK

For the record, I know. It reminds me of the scene in Major League...”who gives a s***, it’s gone.”They’re gone so it doesn’t matter...for the record
It was too high...For the record, I know. It reminds me of the scene in Major League...”who gives a s***, it’s gone.”
And there was also a Beatles Tribute band back before British Revolution, who were also terminated at the end of their last contract. MarieThat would be British Revolution, not a Beatles tribute band. For the record
I'm more upset about how Disney has treated them the last couple of years. They've been moved around so much, never rebuilt a proper stage, and finally moved them into a theater to play Disney tunes!?! That's an insult for jazz musicians. That was the main storyline of the movie La La Land. They only ever played Disney tunes because they took requests, even from hillbillies coming over with their Bud Lights in bottles from the Gasparilla. They are true professionals. I'm just not sure if there are any jazz band venues in Orlando. Maybe Universal will pick them up.No, I’m speaking theoretically, but I can’t imagine Bob Iger writing an email to terminate this band, specifically.

Exactly so, SirWillow!!! And less and less as the years go by, which is the whole point. MarieActually I was thinking of the British Invasion, who the British Revolution replaced, and they definitely were a Beatles tribute band.
Sadly the conclusion is still the same. No more band.
I think they performed on the second floor of the GF lobby while guests were on the first floor watching them.Does anyone have photos of them in their old home / setup at the GF?
I recall the Beatles tribute band at UK. The performers even wore mop wigs to look like Paul, George, John and Ringo. That was about 20 years ago.And there was also a Beatles Tribute band back before British Revolution, who were also terminated at the end of their last contract. Marie
That is the one I thinking of. I remember they had different costumes for the different time frames of the Beatles. I am not a huge Beatles fan but they did it pretty well, I thought. I did prefer British Revolution as it covers more bands from the UK. MarieI recall the Beatles tribute band at UK. The performers even wore mop wigs to look like Paul, George, John and Ringo. I liked the Beatles band a lot. We would try to attend the several musical sets during our stay in one day. Each musical set had different songs. That is the one I thinking of. I would agree on some fellow guests being uncultured. The press release from Disney is complete bollocks.
Just tell the truth. An orchestra is expensive and our guests are uncultured.
