Hey everyone...

My wife and I are planning on taking a Night to ourself on our Next Trip which is August 2013.

We HoneyMooned in Wdw/orlando in 1993 and Had Hoped for a Quick Get away for our anniversary this May.

Dosent look like that will happen But we are def. going With the Kids In august.

I suggested Tonys becasue we ate there and loved it on our Honeymoon.

Dw thinks maybe someplace new and Different would be more enjoyable...We have lots of time to consider what would be best !! So, What do you think?? Thanks in advance for any help!!

I absolutely love the California Grill, but I will second Sweet Melissa's suggestion that you consider Jiko as an alternative. The dining room itself has good ambiance, with the 'repeating sunsets' lighting, and the food is great, but the 'romantic' part really comes with the stroll around the Lodge and pathways at night - very nice! Oh, and if you can get one of the little tables right by the windows that look out on the pond, that's nice too ...

I also love Victoria & Albert's, and think that it's pretty worth it, considering the whole dining experience.

My personal favorite is Jiko at AKL. Next best is Yachtsman at the Yacht Club. They are both less likely to have too many "Excited" children since they are not located in a park. Drop the kids off at one of the baby sitting locations, there is one in the AKL. They also feed the kids dinner. My husband and I went to Jiko's the first night of our Disneymoon. Our waiter was exceptional. Mickey and friends even called us on the restaurant phone to congratulate us. We were also given champagne to toast each other. Where ever you make your reservation, make sure you list your anniversary as a celebration. Most places will give you an extra something.;)

We like California Grill, Les Chefs de France or Le Cellier as a combo of great food, and romantic atmosphere.

Wife and I did Citricos. We liked it alot allthough a bit expensive. Mention that it is your anniversary when making the reservations. We got a personalized menus to take home and it was a very good meal.

Just came back last week and me and the wife left the kids with the grandparents and we had a nice dinner at The Turf Club at Saratoga Springs resort. NIce atmosphere and if you sit outside its even nicer.
