Good Friday

I just realized that every Good Friday here, the sun shines, but at around 2-3pm, when you know what happened, the skies turn grey and cloudy.
That´s how the day has been here today -dreery (sp?). It happens on Good Friday, I swear. It was very hot and sunny yesterday and for the whole week until this morning. I went for the viacrucis outisde at noon at the church nearby and it was veery hot and sunny, but not anymore... it´s getting windy now and it feels weird and like it´s going to rain soon.

Does anyone else experience this where they live? :veryconfu

Well It`s sunny and in the 50`s today, but the past 5 years it has snowed on Easter sunday *Crosses fingers*in hopes that doesn`t happen this year!

Easter Sundays are usually beach days here! Not to rub it in, of course...

Well... I would rather have a sunny day anytime, that´s why I remember the previous years too, because all of a sudden it was cloudy like history says. *shrugs*
It rained in Cancun, but not here today. :animwink:

LOL That was me all day. For some reason I CRAVE meat more during lent (only because I know I can't have it).

BTW It was sunny for most of the day here in So. California.

Maria, One thing I have noticed here in California is that it always rains on Ash Wednesday or at least it drizzles.

In my folk's neck of the woods (where I am spending Easter) it was overcast all day, when the sun made brief appearances it was warm otherwise cold and crowded at the garden centre.

I had chicken and fish. (You have to find some consolations when you have lost your faith )

Good Friday was beautiful here, with temps around 80. We sat on our porch and watched the many boats head out fishing. Crawfish boils are the usual here on Good Friday, but we had shrimp. Couldn't do the flowerbeds as I didn't want to be fussed at for putting my hands in dirt. Gotta finish them this morning.

Come to think of it; I can't remember the last time we had rain on a Good Friday.

You know I think that's true.. Cali on Ash Wens usually rains or so and on Good Friday (at least in Central Cali) the weather is always iffy in the afternoon.

I thought I was crazy for picking up on it!

Actually, Maria - I know what you mean. It was sunny here for a while in the morning (and that's rare in Buffalo this time of year) And the sun was gone during the afternoon. Came back out around dinnertime. Interesting observation . . . . :lookaroun
