I know, I know. Why?
Well, we're planning a weeklong trip to WDW for this fall. Last time
we went, we did Magical Express and stayed on-property. We hope
to do the same thing again.
So . . . given that, the kids are making some noises about wanting to
take a day at Sea World, or (ack!) Universal.
Any suggestions about the best/most cost effective way to do that?
Hopefully we'll be staying at Port Orleans riverside.
Take a cab? How much? I looked into renting a car last time we were down there . . .
and you can pick one up at the car center, but it's a two day minimum rental
(I suppose that would work if we wanted to go off-property for two days).
I recall it being pretty expensive to do that, we considered getting a car to
see a shuttle launch last time (launch was postponed making it a moot point.)
Just wondering how other Disney folks might plan something like this, on what day you might do it, etc.
I have been to both Sea World and Universal, but my kids haven't and they
are understandably curious. I'd just as soon stay on-property and inhale only Mickey air, but
sometimes a parent's gotta do what ya gotta do.
*hopes I can put it off until after Harry Potter opens*
