believe it or not he's usually not over Disney just high enough for you to see it and seem like it is. you can usually see that writing at universal too. The no fly zone is only within a certain height. if he stays out of that range he's fine.

I didn't see it then but have seen it many times before, I think they must be much higher than the restricted zone or flying outside the boarder (just when we look into the sky it appears right above us).

Over the past several months I've seen that plane several times. I wonder if there is some organization behind it or if it's just someone doing it on his own.

We were at Universal on Sunday (before heading over to MVMCP for the night) and we saw it. I just looked up - read it, and shook my head.
I was like - with the money you just spent on 10 minutes of "smoke" and an hours worth of fly time - can't you feed the homeless or buy clothes for them instead of wasting that money on sky writing? Or basicly - anything charitable instead of that...

Seems in the past year, the times that I have been at Disney or IOA, I have seen the smiley and GOD or Jesus... well he certainly gets his message out to MANY doesn't he 
Funny side story... there was a skywriter in my town last wekk, and he spelled out 'Jesus loves you' and also a Smiley right above it.
My 4 year old asks what it says, I tell him, and he says...
"And if there is a sad face, it means Jesus doesn't love you."
Oh man, gotta love kids! haha

Yea, I remember seeing that several trips. I cant remember when, I think one of them may have been this past march but I dont know. One was like, U + God or Jesus, or something.

Well to me as long as it's just a smiley face and God or Jesus I really don't see a problem. I mean it's not like they are writting anything more, you know anything daming.
I'm ok with it as long as people keep a level head.

One could argue that the sum of money you four will put into Disney trips in the coming years could go to a similar cause! :shrug::shrug: Let's not judge!

(And in NO WAY am I trying to get into a religious discussion on a Disney board.)
But the money I spend on my vacation (whether it's going to Disney or someplace else) isn't trying to get people to "see religion".
I would guess who ever this person is already does a great deal more than we might ever know - as with any person that spends money on a trip to Disney.
And this is totally my opinion here - it just seems that the money spent on smoke writting could be spent on better ways of "advertising" is all. At least a billboard ad is semi perminant for a few months. Smoke writting - while it is seen by a few tens of thousands of people on any given day - it's gone in just a few minutes. I know I know - if they reach just one person, it's all worth while...blah blah blah.
But in no way was I judging that person(s) for doing the "ad". I just think it could be spent in better ways to actually reach out and make a difference in peoples lives - while sending the same message.
im not judging anyone. i just get tired of people trying to save me by constantly preaching to me one way or another. the reason i go to disney every year is to have fun, thats it. but yes if i wanted to help people or whatever i could donate what it costs me to have fun i guess, but i do that enough with my taxes. a persons religion is a very personal matter and i dont really care what anyone does within their beliefs, i just want them to keep me out of it
