i definitely think I made a mistake...

i shouldn't have done it...

it didn't serve a purpose... and I was better when I was angry at her... and now I can't play the angry card...

I just think by continuing to try and play these games, you're causing yourself to take a few steps back in the great progress you've made.

saying I "held the anger card" was a poor choice of words...

I'm not trying to play games anymore... at all...

like i said in the previous post...

I CANNOT fathom just not talking to her anymore...

i can't do it...

i got a response and all I can say is... it feels more over forever than it ever has before...

I mean it was just as friendly and just as straight to the point as mine was. But it just feels more over for good forever than it ever has before... and I mean I told you I already accepted that but... it's just a cold feeling which is why I shouldn't have done it...

I just don't like thinking about never talking to the girl again... I just don't like that...

yes its over... I know it is now... I've fully accepted that... but I cannot accept not talking to her ever again... it's simply too hard.
As someone who is friends w/ her exes, some of them extremely close (1 was at my wedding w/ his wife), I completely understand where you're coming from. But you need to give it time before it can cross-over. The break-up is still too fresh, I think.

And that's what I was trying to have you avoid...I had a feeling the response would be cold. :(

Well, ((Hugs))

I agree with Steph...it's still too soon, the wounds still fresh. Everytime I would become friends with exs, it would be a good while after...like, months and months.

And now you put on your big-boy pants and move forward.

You've been doing really well, Joe, just keep moving forward.

OT- Joe, so I looked at the Eagles set list (I am going to see them on Tuesday) and they aren't going to play Wasted Time. :( But they are pretty much playing every other song I love including several Don Henley and Joe Walsh solo songs that I love.

Is wasted time your favorite song?

they have sooooooooooooooo many good hits though so at least you'll still be in for a great show!!!
