But I saw Twilight this morning.
I liked it. It doesn't have the intensity of the book and isn't nearly as good, but still...

Both DD and DS saw it over Thanksgiving and neither one liked it. They haven't read the books yet though, if that matters.

I think it matters a lot.
It's low-budget and it looks it.
And certain elements of the story just aren't clear in the movie. There are things you just wouldn't get without having read it first.

So we went to DD's school last night to see Livingston Taylor in concert - he was great, and her school is absolutely gorgeous!

In the book you get such a real feel for the love between Edward and Bella...the real feeling that they are each other's destinies. That doesn't come across as well in the film.

Oh man, I loved them! I read all 4 in less then 2 weeks.
