Hi all! Can't stay. Getting ready to go to my friend's house, then to the airport to go home! :sohappy:

Saw Twilight last night. I really liked it. They were very faithful to the book, aside from 2-3 ish scenes. And it was a lot funnier than I thought it was going to be. Umm...I think Samie gave you all the good details, so I'll leave it at that. :)

Have a safe trip home Nicole!

YAY glad you liked it too!!!!

Has anyone here seen the movie Once? I'm watching it right now, and it's not as great as I was expecting. I'm kind of bored.

I've owned the soundtrack for a few months and I LOVE that. But the movie just isn't that good, IMO.

Two struggling musicians in Dublin, Ireland. The music is great, especially the song "Falling Slowly": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FkFB8f8bzbY&feature=related

But the cinematography is NOT good, and the acting is a little awkward, and you can tell everyone is just completely new to filmmaking.

But I guess the music is all that matters.

Can't listen to it here... :(

Music definitely can make or break a borderline movie...

Have you ever seen "Life As a House"? I thought the music went well with the movie.

You should definitely listen to it when you can. It's really beautiful.

I agree. And I guess this movie is technically a "musical," but not like "LET'S SING AND DANCE RANDOMLY" type of musical. More like... we're singing music because we're writing music. Does that make sense?

The dramatic aspects just aren't successful.

No, I haven't. I'll see if the library has it. I've heard some good reviews of it.

Yeah, that makes sense.

Definitely watch it. I really like it. It's one of my favorites.

It's too early!! Not to mention I talked to someone from the DVC today and I have to keep telling myself I can't afford the vacation club at this time! We're in the daydream stage right now.

Uh oh.. am I in trouble?? :lookaroun

Did they send you the big blue book yet? They will... it's fascinating!

hey you... I saw your kitty! She looks sweet :)

She is really sweet. Very affectionate.

I kind of wonder if she's the neighbor's cat...we have a kind of country house next to our studio...and I wonder if it's theirs...but I've never seen her before either. So if she was like an outdoor cat, I'd think I would have seen her before.

I thought she looked a little frightening in that picture, to be honest...

:lookaroun

Yeah...the eyes look weird in the pic...

No...they are kind of far down the road...not too far...but not like right next door either...I think I'm going to put some signs up before I leave work today.

And it was too cold for her...today, it's 28 degrees right now...too cold for a kitty to be out. :( I'd hate if there were snow though!
