I dont know if anyone goes through this but I wanted to share. Sometimes me and the wife get extra fast passes that we dont use so instead if throwing them away we like to give them away.

Here is where it begins. We start looking for a couple, but it cant just be any couple. I dont know why but we really start disecting the situation and by the time we find someone, we couldve ridden the ride:ROFLOL:

Anyone else do this:lol:

On my last visit i had 4 fast passes for SM because my friends decided not to ride again. So i rode twice and ended up giving the 2 that were left to a couple that was in front of me and they were surprised and took them eagerly. so yea give them away.:)

We have both given and been given FastPasses in the past. I usually try to share mine if I'm not going to use them and other people obviously feel the same. I think it's a very nice thing to share like that. :)

Thats so nice of you guys. But no, I never give fastpasses away. I only did it one time, and it was for my aunt and thats the only time I can remember. If I have extra I usually ride extra, or save them.

My husband and I have been on both ends, we have been given fastpasses by a couple whose kid chickened out, and we have given them. I think we gave them away because we were able to go through the line without having to go through fastpass...I think its a nice gesture for whatever reason and welcome and do it when I can or when needed.

I have given them away, been given them, and also been asked to make up a group where some people had extra.

My kids and I were waiting standby for RnRC when a very nice group of 5 people from England had a set of 8 fast passes and asked us to join them. We had a great time getting to know them and riding RnRC with them.

They asked us if we wanted to go on ToT with them using the FP's afterwards, but that is the one ride my oldest flat our refuses to ride, and my youngest and I had just been on it before we got on RnRC, so we declined. But a very nice family and a very enjoyable experience.

my past 3 trips to Disney World someone has given us their fast pass for a ride. Last time it was Space Mountain and the 2 before that were RnRC and Expedition Everest. People have been so nice in giving them to us so any time we decide to ride something else at that time or decide to use the time to eat we're more than happy to give them away.
No real method to who we give them to, usually a group going towards the line for the ride.

I'm usually really dorky and cheesy about it... one time I had 2 Fastpasses for Peter Pan that I wasn't going to use and I found a couple who had just gotten married... asked if they had been on Peter Pan yet, and when they said "no" I said "Well Neverland is a FANTASTIC place for a Honeymoon!" and gave them the FPs.....

Yep, we've done it a few times now. Its starting to become something we do more often actually, as a sort of 'good deed for the day' thing.

This was on my list of things to do, beleive it or not! I want to go and get FP's for the most popular attractions and give them to guest just coming into the park as I leave for the day! I call this my RAK Project for WDW. (Random Acts of Kindness) I am sure you heard of it as well! Another thing I want to do, which is so simple buwill have an impact...is buy a few of those MICKEY shaped balloons and give them so some kids sitting along the parade route while waiting for it to begin! But whatever you do, always ask permission from the parents first before handing something to a child!
I am sure if you really think about it and be creative, you can find other ways to have a RAK Project of your own, not only at WDW, but in your everyday life! The act of kindness you show now may continue beyond what you could ever imagine!!!!:sohappy:

(Gosh, I am so philosphical!) Trust me I am far from that!:ROFLOL:

Whatever you do, Have a Magical Day!

We had a family offer us their fast passes for Mission Space in our last visit because a few of the kids chickened out last minute. We were so pleasantly surprised and grateful because it definitely saved us about an hour outside of our day. Later on in the week, we got passes for Splash Mountain but didn't use them because of rain I believe (or maybe we had dinner reservations and were running late?) Anyway whatever the reason we wound up not using them so we "paid it forward and gave our passes to another family.

We've done this before. The one I remember was in Ecopt we had received a fasspass for 6 people and were only going to use 3 on Mission Space. My friends found another group of 3 and it turned out that they lived in the town next to our friends!

I've done this on the one opportunity I've had to do it, but all in all if I get a FP I end up using it. I've also had it done to me and it's always a really nice surprise :)

Funny you say that, me and my wife always look for our good deed of the day. Many of times Ive gone out of my way to help someone in the park or something as simple as picking up a piece of trash that is nowhere near me but Im attracted to it and feel the need to go get it:lol:

As a matter of fact:ROFLOL:

I think it was three years ago we were leaving Animal Kingdom and this lady in a wheel chair says "excuse me". So I turn and ask "yes maam?" She then asks if I can push her up the bridge bc her partner wasnt able to. Now this lady was about 300lbs mind you but Im 6'4" 275 so im more than capable. There was a quite moment after my wife looked at me and laughed and I told the lady "hold on!"

Giving them away can sometimes be more of a challenge than anything esle. One couple we asked a few weeks ago sneered at us and said "NO!" quite loudly. I had 2 FP's for Soarin' and just couldn't get anyone to take them. You'd think people would dive for a chance since the line is usually at least an hour or more.

We do that quite often ourselves. Sometimes for us it ends up being a situation where a meal reservation or something like that has us scrambling. We take the FP's and go the the line and give them to whomever is athte very end.

That is always fun to do for someone! Since we go so often at Christmas, we will walk up to that person and say Merry Christmas!!!

Any time we happen to have extra Fastpasses, result of us getting a fastpass and before using it deciding we are heading to the resort or to another park, we always give them away. We do try and find a nice couple or a parent and child to give them to. The first time we were given fastpasses from someone it really made our day, so now if we have extras we always try to make someone else's day! The only time we have been turned down trying to give our fastpasses away is when it was for a ride, such as ToT or RRC, that the folks are too scared to ride. haha!

I found this to be the case for me once too! We had fastpasses for the Jungle Cruise and ended up going to eat instead. There was a 45 minute wait, so I tried to give my fastpasses to people in line. I had a few people just stare at me like I was crazy. One group was holding spaces in line & had more people coming so they couldn't take them. I seriously couldn't give them away.

Other times though people have been really excited about it, and we've always been excited when it happens to us too. It's like getting to create your own little magical moment for someone else. :)

Last summer my father, brother, and myself were on vacation walking up Sunset Blvd from ToT and a guy comes up to us asks, "I have 3 fastpasses for Toy Story Mania (and shows them to us), would you like them?" We said yeah of course and as my dad was about to put his hand on them the guy said "Five dollars each.":eek: WHAT!?!?! We said FPs are non transferable and you can't sell them. He said alright I'll find someone else. My dad and I are both CM's and we almost went to Guest Relations but decided not to. What nerve some people have!
