back in. 2011, wife & I had dinner at the garden grill in Epcot. it was a looooong night afterwards. got sick from the sausage stuffing. don't know if it was undercooked, but haven't been back there since. odd topic, but I'm sure I'm not the 1st person this happened to.

We've had folks reporting mealtime ailments every so often. One person claimed that she and her children got "food poisoning" after their first meal arriving and was trying to get compensation from TDO for their ruined week. Unfortunately she didn't realize that food poisoning symptoms are dependent on the virus: Sometimes symptoms occur in hours, sometimes it takes days depending on which of the over-250 different viruses is causing it. Since she didn't report to a doctor until after they got back home, she was crap outta luck.

Are you sure your sickness wasn't because of other factors?

pretty sure it was the food. I had the stuffing, wife skipped it, & that's what kept coming up on me all night. didn't ruin the entire trip. was fine the day after.

Food Poisoning http://www.webmd.com/food-recipes/food-poisoning/food-poisoning

Food Poisoning is caused by bacterias in undercooked or contaminated cooked foods. A virus-related illness is an entirely different subject. E. Coli, Salmonella, Listeria, are most likely the culprits in food poisoning os the OP suggested.
I got sick on a trip after eating a fish sandwich from The Big River Grill at The Boardwalk. Haven't been back there since but mostly because they have one in Chatanooga so I'd rather eat at restaurants that I can't find close to home.

Out of the many times I have been to disney I have never gotten sick. However, at Boma during breakfast, there was a bunch of hair in the eggs and people were eating from it and did not see it - then when I noticed it I almost got sick from the sight of it and told the manager. It was absolutely disgusting! Nonetheless, Boma breakfast and dinner is amazing

I've always wondered how food poisoning is self diagnosed? For instance if people are sick at home then I rarely hear them blaming their own cooking for food poisoning and they just put it down to having a bug, however if they've had a meal out they very often blame that meal instantly. I'm not knocking the OP here, it's just something that has always intrigued me.

personally, I think the food at disney is great. fresh, filling, always find something different. this was just a isolated incident that thankfully didn't ruin our trip at all. blame them more for adding to my waist line although I lost a pound or 2 that night, lol.

Only thing that makes me sick when it comes to Disney food is the fact that they took away the best chicken salad sandwich ever. They use to serve it in The Land...Amazing!!

Nope. And not the first time this topic has been discussed.

I remember The Land's awesome veggie lasagna, back before they turned Sunshine Seasons into a shopping mall food court.

Talking of The Land and food, I remember when they used to sell the most fantastic chocolate fudge sundaes there. Each year we go in the hope they've returned but alas, it seems it's just not meant to be.

I had an evening and day after ruined at the (new) very expensive Cali Grill last year.

Strange coincidence by the time I got to the car my expensive food and everything else wanted to leave my body and wasn't going to wait. A very bad time.

WDWs 3rd party legal company for food upsets (they actually have one) decided it wasn't their fault and basically said bad luck.
